Who you are Metropolis is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy to join the Office of the Chief Strategy Officer, working directly with the Founder & Chief Strategy Officer on mission-critical initiatives. You are a high-performing professional with at least 5 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, management consulting firm, or corporate strategy team. You are energized by working directly with a founder on mission-critical initiatives spanning corporate development, capital markets, global expansion, and commercialization of next-generation AI applications. You thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments, communicate crisply, and operate with a founder-level sense of urgency and ownership. You are comfortable with frequent domestic and international travel, including work related to expansion into the Middle East and other strategic markets. What you'll do • Partner closely with the Founder & Chief Strategy Officer on high-priority initiatives across corporate development, capital markets, commercialization, and global market expansion, • Support international growth and market entry, including research, investor and government stakeholder mapping, regulatory diligence, partnership evaluations, and strategy development for expansion in the Middle East and other global regions, • Support global capital raising across equity, structured capital, and debt, including investor outreach, diligence coordination, modeling, scenario planning, benchmarking, and preparation of investor and board materials, • Work with the commercialization and product teams to evaluate and help launch AI applications in new real-world environments—including QSR, refueling, hospitality, and other strategic end markets, • Develop market maps, strategic frameworks, and long-range planning materials that shape founder and executive decision-making, • Collaborate with the Office of the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial planning, and strategic resource allocation, • Partner with legal and government-relations teams on regulatory research, contract assessments, government engagement, and emerging-market compliance matters, • Lead cross-functional special projects and high-urgency priorities related to new business incubation, partnerships, operating model design, and commercialization strategy, • Prepare high-quality communication materials and presentations for internal and external audiences, including investors, lenders, government stakeholders, and strategic partners., • Travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, for investor meetings, market diligence, commercial work, and founder supportWhat we're looking for, • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred, • 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or similar analytical roles, • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and build data-driven recommendations, • Experience building financial models and performing valuation, forecasting, or scenario analysis, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating analytic insights into clear narratives and presentations, • High level of intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work both independently and across finance, legal, operations, product, and commercialization teams, • Ability to maintain high discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information, • Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel skills, • Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, or corporate development environment, • Ability and willingness to travel frequently, including internationallyWhile not required, these are a plus: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience.
