Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to the monthly close process, including preparation and review of financial reports., • Develop and evaluate monthly financial statements at both departmental and organizational levels., • Perform variance analysis comparing budgeted figures to actual results across functional areas., • Collaborate with the Director of Financial Reporting & Planning to enhance and streamline budgeting and forecasting processes, including system improvements and automation initiatives., • Oversee financial reporting and administration for government and foundation-funded grants., • Support the onboarding and financial setup of new grants and contracts, including development of detailed budget plans., • Monitor grant-related revenues and expenses to ensure proper allocation and compliance with funding guidelines., • Review and validate the accuracy and completeness of monthly and quarterly contract billings., • Assist in preparing interim and final grant reports, providing required financial data to internal stakeholders for submission., • Contribute to special projects and other finance initiatives as needed. Qualifications & Experience, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required., • Minimum of four years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, and grant management., • Prior experience within a nonprofit environment is advantageous., • Solid knowledge of GAAP and grant compliance standards., • Proven ability to manage multiple funding sources, deadlines, and reporting requirements with precision., • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookups (macro experience a plus)., • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally., • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, adaptability, and exceptional attention to detail.
