Job Description Your role as a kitchen assistant is significant, as food is a very important focus of our camp program. Our kitchen is Kosher and all rules pertaining to this will be fully explained during orientation. Kitchen assistants are responsible for preparing three healthy and delicious meals and four snacks per day. This position requires you to live onsite, in staff housing for duration of employment. Room and board are included in addition to your salary. • You will work under the direct supervision of the Head Chefs., • Assist in food preparation under the guidance and direction of the chef. Summary: The position of Camp Counselor provides direct care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by The Arc Gloucester / Camp Sun ‘N Fun and helps these individuals reach their fullest potential. Position: Seasonal. Camp Counselors live at the camp property during the Camp Season in a cabin setting. This position is supervised by the Camp Recreation Director. The camp season starts 6/15/2026 with training week. Camper sessions start Sunday, 6/21/2026.Camp sessions run from mid-day Sundays through mid-day Fridays. Day camp counselors are typically scheduled Monday - Friday daytime hours. However, flexibility and willingness to adjust hours to support weekend activities is preferred. The program also should facilitate personal growth of the C.I.T.'s through values clarification activities and other fun recreational and educational events. Evaluate each C.I.T.'s progress regularly providing guidance and encouragement., 18. Review camper progress and handle disciplinary problems at camp according to YMCA and ACA standards and procedures., 19. Follow all documentation and attendance procedures., 20. Adhere to all NJ Youth Camp standards and American Camping Association standards, especially maintaining camper safety as a top priority. EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIALIST ROLE & KEY TASKS As an Early Childhood Specialist, you will report to the Programming Assistant Director, Early Childhood Division Leader, and Camp Leadership Team and work collaboratively with counselors and fellow specialists to deliver daily programming for Pre-K and Kindergarten campers (ages 3–5).
