Data Center Technician IV Role: The Data Center Technician IV must possess an expert level of knowledge and will be responsible for the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the data center electrical, mechanical, fire life safety systems, and communications infrastructure. We are currently hiring for the Day Shift 7:00am-3:00pm, Sunday - Thursday. Mechanical responsibilities will include chilled water systems and components, HVAC systems such as roof top units, CRAC/CRAH units, and humidification systems. Electrical responsibilities will include electrical/critical power distribution from the Utility/Generator main switchgear through the UPS systems out to the customer load. Fire Life Safety responsibilities will include wet sprinkler systems and pre-action sprinkler systems as well as their associated detection devices. Communications Infrastructure responsibilities will include IFD / MDF / MMR management, structured cabling and supporting infrastructure ownership, and customer space management. This position will also be directly responsible for the processes that maximize customer uptime in the most cost-effective way by working very closely with the Data Center Manager. Technicians must ensure that data center problems are identified and repaired quickly, contractors deliver quality services, and internal customer demands are met. A Tier IV technician develops creative approaches to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and implement new strategies. Duties:Data center subject matter expert for electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire life safety systems.Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems. Areas include: Electrical, Mechanical, Communications, Building Monitoring and Control. Tracking and trending operational characteristics. Requirements Knowledge:Expert understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a facility and data center environment, including, but not limited to the following: electrical distribution and layout, Transformers, PLC’s, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, STS’, ATS’ PDU’s, Chilled Water Systems, CRAC/CRAH’s, Pre-Action Sprinkler SystemsExpert knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and compliance issues as well as building codes in regard to fire life safetyExpert knowledge of fiber optics / cabling infrastructure and industry best practices.Expert knowledge in industrial safety best practices (i.e. lockout/tag out, arc flash protection, OSHA and state regulations)Expert knowledge and experienced with data trending / tracking and analysis and ability to rapidly learn and use PC based, integrated critical monitoring systems Skills:Minimum of 5-7 years of experience installing, maintaining, and/or troubleshooting large commercial and industrial systems including: Chilled Water Systems, Large Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Water Treatment Systems, VFD’s and Pumps, HVAC equipment, CRAC/CRAH’s, Humidification Systems, BMS and PLC Controls, Emergency Standby Diesel Generator Systems, Fuel/Oil systems, 480/277 and 208/120 electrical generation and distribution, Static UPS Systems, and Double Interlock Pre-Action SystemsProven leadership skillsProven expert and laying out, pulling, dressing, and terminating fiber and copper communications cabling.Experience diagnosing and repairing IT hardware, servers, network switches, structured cabling.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of the Coordinator of Operations, Education will include but are not limited to the following: • Certifying attendance on CMR site and assist fi-techs and finance staff with CMR issues., • Follow-up with CMR certification and payment issues., • Review Payment rosters and share with finance staff., • Provide Finance department with payment amounts and anticipated date of payment, • Review FTE information from tracking and review tracking for corrections to FTE or student data – work with fi-techs to ensure corrections are made., • Respond to audit requests for CFR completion., • Review and assist with any needed corrections in revenue., • Review and assist with any corrections needed to cash receipt schedules., • Responsible for all the grant submissions and have entered final reports as well., • Collect, compile and submit the PD-6 report each winter. This is the report on personnel hired and contracted to provide education and related services to students with disabilities. This report is also completed online. Each site submits their data and incumbent compile and submit., • Complete and submit the SEDCAR report. The report is a count of students enrolled by a specified date in preschool and school age programs. This count is used to determine the 611/619 budgets., • Review 611 and 619 applications before they are submitted., • Work with DOE representative and Family Connect staff to ensure that the 611/619 contracts reflect education programs’ needs., • Review and sign check requests and requisitions for 611/619 purchases., • Enter potential staff into PETS and check status updates., • Assist with attendance percentages for 4410 desk audits., • Supervise collection of time sheets from contracted staff., • Supervise and direct education finance staff and fi-techs., • Complete performance evaluations for education finance staff and fi-techs., • Review and approve education finance and fi-techs’ time in HRIS., • Track LMS trainings and ensure that all measures for safety and well-being are maintained at highest level., • Provides overall direction, guidance and supervision to Fi techs at assigned schools and main office., • Conducts staff meetings with assigned Fi techs on a regular basis., • Supports an effective personnel program which includes recruitment, staff development, appropriate position descriptions, performance standards, and performance appraisals., • Conducts individual supervisory meetings with subordinates to discuss program, personnel or training needs and assesses their performance., • Responds to program and work-related questions, problems and complaints from staff, families and outside regulatory agencies. URAM provides the healthcare services from the Federally Qualified Health Center located in the heart of Harlem. We provide Primary Care, Specialty Care, Dental Care and Wellness Care to those seeking diagnosis and treatment. All employees of URAM are responsible to perform their job practicing good risk management, quality assurance, and delivering excellent internal and external customer service. The incumbent in this job will perform various customer service duties including responding to inquiries, obtaining information, and providing information on Upper Room AIDS Ministry and its services within legal guidelines and agency policies. The primary responsibility is for the intake and registration of clients to the clinic, including insurance verification, fee assessment, and cashiering, presumptive eligibility for Medicaid, referrals, scheduling appointments and data input. The incumbents in this job have routine access to individually identifiable health information including the clients’ entire medical records on a need-to-know basis only. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant III will include, but are not limited to, the following: • Greets visitors, responds to routine inquiries, and directs individuals to the appropriate staff or resource., • Answers and screens phone calls, takes messages, and forwards calls to the appropriate staff member., • Prepares and types routine correspondence, reports, and forms as directed., • Assists with maintaining staff attendance records, leave requests, and departmental calendars., • Maintains organized filing systems for administrative and program-related materials., • Assists with ordering, tracking, and maintaining office supplies and equipment inventory., • Sorts, distributes, and processes incoming and outgoing mail and packages., • Supports the preparation of purchase requisitions and tracks deliveries., • Provides assistance with meeting logistics, including preparing materials, refreshments, and room setup., • Assists with petty cash reimbursements and maintains accurate records as directed., • Performs photocopying, scanning, and other routine office support tasks., • Provides guidance and basic instruction to Administrative Assistant I and II staff, as directed by supervisor., • Collaborates with other administrative staff on shared assignments and projects., • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to organizational policies and procedures., • Performs other related duties as requested. SUMMARY Under the supervision of program leadership, the Administrative Assistant III provides general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the department.
