SERVICE DESCRIPTION: Project Manager – Project Delivery System (PDS) Background Our client, a major New York regional infrastructure agency, is implementing a next-generation Project Management Information System (PMIS) to enhance planning, engineering, construction management, and asset lifecycle workflows. The system is built on the Kahua platform and supports capital project delivery across multiple departments. The Engineering Solutions Unit (ES) oversees development, deployment, and change management associated with this transformation and is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to lead the agency-wide implementation. Consultant Services The Project Manager will manage the delivery of the new PDS from concept through organization-wide release. Duties include: • Leading end-to-end design, testing, deployment, and rollout of a large-scale PMIS platform., • Working with business units, IT teams, vendors, and executives to align system design with operational goals., • Managing schedules, risks, scope, and budgets across cross-functional stakeholders., • Overseeing vendor deliverables and integration activities to ensure system compatibility. Required • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field., • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification., • Minimum 15 years of experience managing complex IT/software/hardware programs, preferably for public-sector infrastructure or transportation systems., • Demonstrated success leading PMIS or equivalent enterprise technology implementations., • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field., • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or ITIL., • Prior experience with the Kahua PMIS platform. Pay Rate: $70 – $100/hour (based on qualifications and scope) Annualized Equivalent: $145,000 – $208,000+ Rate benchmarks are based on current NYC consulting market data for senior PMIS consultants with enterprise project experience. Higher rates are appropriate for candidates with Kahua expertise or prior experience supporting tri-state public agencies.
