Assisting with Technology, Supply, and Inventory Management: • Check supply levels in the Teacher Work Room (TWR) daily and restock essential items (e.g., paper, pens, markers, snacks) to ensure teachers have the materials needed., • Carry and deliver scholar snacks throughout the school building as scheduled., • Monitor and document inventory levels regularly, noting when supplies are running low and informing the BOM to reorder as needed., • Respond promptly to teacher requests for specific supplies, • Troubleshoot basic scholar Chromebook issues and understand the system for distributing new technology, escalating more complex issues to the BOM or IT support. Facilities Support: • Conduct routine facility checks of the school building as directed by the BOM. (Building Operations Manager), • Ensure rapid acknowledgment of facilities slackbot issues and escalate them to the appropriate personnel (BOM or facilities team) according to established protocols., • Walk through hallways, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and free of hazards. General Support During Arrival & Dismissal: • Serve as extra support by being present and observant during arrival and dismissal times, while adhering to the guideline of not assuming any leadership and/or scholar management responsibilities., • Aid in recording tardy arrivals or early dismissals, ensuring that accurate records are kept and communicating any issues to the BOM., • Direct students, families, and staff to designated areas, helping manage foot traffic to keep arrival and dismissal processes efficient. A successful Facilities Maintenance Associate will: • Complete work orders accurately, safely, and on time., • Demonstrate strong hands-on knowledge of building maintenance and facility systems., • Monitor and support pool systems with accuracy and consistency., • Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance issues and urgent facility needs., • Communicate clearly with engineers, supervisors, vendors, and staff., • Maintain organized mechanical rooms, work areas, and documentation., • Follow safety protocols and use good judgment when troubleshooting issues., • Support smooth handoffs between shifts and reduce gaps in communication., • Help prevent disruptions to programs, classes, events, members, and daily operations., • Show reliability, accountability, and strong follow-through during a fixed operational schedule. Who You’ll Work With • Director of Facilities and Operations, • Operations Team, • Facilities Team, • Housekeeping Team, • Security Team, • Member Services Team, • Aquatics Team, • Sports Team, • Fitness Team, • Camps Team, • Members, participants, families, staff, and guests Qualifications Required Qualifications You’ll need: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or a closely related maintenance role., • Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general repairs., • Experience using commercial maintenance tools and following established safety protocols., • Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues, work independently, and make sound decisions during time-sensitive situations., • Ability to respond to leaks, alarms, equipment issues, safety concerns, and urgent facility needs., • Ability to accurately document work orders, shift activity, pool readings, and maintenance updates., • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use work order systems, DigiQuatics, BMS, Salesforce, or similar platforms., • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in confined or elevated spaces, and remain on your feet for extended periods., • Ability to work the fixed schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM., • Certified Pool Operator certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire., • Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications • It would be helpful if you also have:, • FDNY fire and life safety certifications, including F-01, F-07, S-12, S-13, S-95, or willingness to obtain., • Current Certified Pool Operator certification., • Experience with pool operations, filtration systems, chemical readings, mechanical plant systems, or aquatic facility maintenance., • Experience with building automation systems, BMS platforms, commercial fitness facilities, aquatics facilities, schools, recreation centers, nonprofit facilities, or high-traffic public-facing buildings., • Experience coordinating shift handoffs, vendor communication, preventative maintenance, or emergency maintenance response. The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. This schedule is a firm operational requirement and is not negotiable because the role supports evening campus coverage, building operations, pool systems, maintenance response, program continuity, and safe facility operations during assigned hours. The work environment includes mechanical rooms, pool areas, fitness and recreation spaces, common areas, staff areas, building systems spaces, and other active facility environments. The role may involve exposure to noise, humidity, pool chemicals, equipment rooms, tools, active maintenance areas, and urgent facility needs.

    We are looking for an experienced and responsible Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team at our brand-new restaurant opening on the Upper West Side. Key Responsibilities Direct, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team. Ensure all storage areas are organized, properly labeled, and kept up to date. Maintain full compliance with all Health Department regulations and food safety standards. Ensure all food preparation follows company recipes, procedures, and brand standards ("How-To Cards"). Verify that all menu items are prepared consistently according to brand standards. Enforce company policies and kitchen procedures, including employee break compliance. Manage inventory and place food and supply orders. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Oversee maintenance and proper operation of all kitchen equipment. Ensure cleaning and sanitation standards are maintained at all times. Train team members and help develop a positive and professional kitchen culture. Monitor food quality, waste control, and kitchen efficiency. Trial Period A paid trial period will be required. The trial will last 1 to 2 weeks, depending on performance and experience. The trial will take place at our small Upper East Side location, where candidates will have the opportunity to learn our systems, standards, and procedures. Position Location Following the successful completion of the trial period, the Kitchen Manager will be assigned to our new restaurant opening on the Upper West Side.
