This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands on clinical experience while working directly with physicians nurse practitioners physician assistants and other medical professionals. This role is ideal for candidates pursuing a future career in healthcare including PA school medical school nursing wound care physical therapy or other clinical fields. We provide wound care and medical services in community assisted living skilled nursing long term care and residential care settings. Our wound care model is collaborative supportive and quality focused. You will not be working alone. You will work directly with providers medical assistants scribes nursing staff therapists nutrition support and facility teams to help deliver excellent patient care. What You Will Do Prepare patient charts and wound care notes before each visit. Round in person with wound care providers. Scribe medical notes and assist with accurate clinical documentation. Assist providers during wound care visits and procedures under supervision. Help organize wound measurements photos supplies and treatment information. Communicate with providers nurses facility staff and administrative team members. Assist with follow up tasks orders and patient care coordination. Support a smooth workflow during wound rounds.
