Job DescriptionPassaic County Community College (PCCC) is seeking a full-time STEM Industry and Employer Engagement Specialist to manage employer partnerships. This position will report to the Program Coordinator. This is a full-time, grant-funded position. Example of Duties: • Involve employers and industry associations in supporting experiential learning., • Expand the number of employers engaged in program activities., • Centralize registration process for STEM research and internship experiences., • Promote internship and research experiences for PCCC STEM majors., • Arrange for tours of STEM industry worksites for PCCC STEM majors., • Organize workshops to train PCCC STEM majors using cutting edge STEM technologies including 3D Printers, laser cutters, virtual reality, drones, artificial intelligence, flight simulators, and other emerging technologies., • Collect and maintain internship participation data and provide reports for stakeholders., • Serve on the project management team and the STEM Advisory Council., • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, Business, Management, or related field required., • Must have a minimum of five years of related work experience., • Experience with the use of maintenance of 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC milling, drones, flight simulators, 3D scanning, virtual reality, and other emerging technologies., • Experience designing curriculum and workshops related to emerging STEM technologies., • Must demonstrate strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The starting salary for this position is $60,000.
