This includes the ability to work in a stressful environment and work peacefully with co-workers and residents., • Conducts regular property inspections in person and takes appropriate actions to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, grounds, buildings, and amenities meet established standards for safety, cleanliness, and general appearance and appeal., • Completes various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary., • Oversees lease enforcement policies by completing periodic apartment inspections, following proper notice requirements, following eviction procedures, and imposing and collecting late fees and other charges as allowable and stated in the terms of the lease. This position is scheduled for 40 hours in a regular work week. Hours of operation vary, but typical office hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Must be available to work on additional tasks that may require work on weekends or after hours. Must be available to work onsite and travel for business purposes. Job Description GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) Education Curator POSITION SUMMARY: The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library seeks to fill a position for the GLAM Education Curator. The GLAM Center for Collaborative Teaching and Learning was established to bring together the art and archival collections of the Atlanta University Center for engagement and learning. The GLAM center includes the AUC Woodruff Library art collection, the Archives Research Center, and collaborative partnerships with Clark Atlanta University's Art Museum and Spelman College's Museum of Fine Art. The person selected for this position will be responsible for the daily operations of the GLAM Center, AUC GLAM faculty engagement strategies, maintaining the AUC GLAM Center's digital portal, serving as a liaison to the visual arts and curatorial studies programs across the AUC Campuses, and curating the AUC Woodruff Library's art collection. The Education Curator is responsible for actively cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with AUC teaching faculty and AUC museum staff on behalf of the library. This is done through the facilitation of faculty development workshops, faculty consultations, and User Design studies. Job DescriptionDescription: The Community and Family Engagement supports the school culture by serving as the bridge between school and parents. Reports to: Principal Network Support: Senior Dir. Culture & Community Wellness PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: General School Community and Family Engagement • Educates teachers and staff on how to communicate and work effectively with parents as equal partners, • Serves as a school-based intermediary contact for concerns and comments made by parents and community members, • Expands opportunities for continued learning, voluntary community service and civic participation, • Plan, host, and/or collaborate with staff or partners to facilitate Family University sessions, • Develops community collaborations, • Promotes sharing of power with parents as decision-makers, • Supports student enrollment and recruitment efforts, • At least 50 hours documented hours a semester of NPU, board meetings and community engagement events, • Loop school staff into key community meetings as needed, • Aid the Parent Teacher Association or PTCA by facilitating its creation, supporting members in their initiatives, bridging the PTCA, • Maintains parent resource center, • Helps parents understand the educational system so they can become better advocates for their children’s education, • Advises and trains parents on how to address issues with the leadership staff in school meetings, • Provides referrals to community-based services for families, • Communicate with parents in meaningful ways on a regular basis to forge healthy relationships, • Conduct check-ins with engaged and involved parents to ensure that the school is maintaining a positive relationship with these parents, • Provides workshops, classes, and activities for parents at their local school on a regular basis, • Recruits volunteers from the community to host various workshops and classes to speak directly with parents, • Provides materials such as event calendars, brochures, and educational resources, • Creates opportunities for parents who have limited English proficiency, a disability or are underrepresented because of social economics or racial barriers to participate in education initiatives and enrichment workshops, • Conducts surveys to assess the needs of parents at their local school, • Reviews annual reports to evaluate the effectiveness of their parent involvement programs, • Develops, analyzes, and distributes the results of parent surveys to the school’s leadership team and/or Title I Director, • Compliance, • Keeps excellent records of all parent involvement activities, reports, surveys, funding, annual program evaluations, and communications to parents, • Coordinates and implements research-based strategies for their local school(s) and/or district parent involvement program to engage parents in improving student achievement through the National PTA Family School Partnership Standards, • Collaborates with local, regional, and state organizations to create opportunities to help families understand school academic standards, assessments and report cards, • Collaborates with parents, teachers, and the school’s leadership team to develop a family-friendly school climate, • Collaborates with other parent engagement professionals such as parent mentors and early education school transition coaches or other designees, • Takes part in opportunities for professional development at the local, regional, and/or state level with proper authorization, • Attends all local meetings and trainings for Parent Involvement Coordinators, • Values that align with the Kindezi model and goals, • Demonstrated commitment to increasing student achievement and supporting the social-emotional needs of students, • Dedicated, reflective thinker with a growth mindset, • Be a United States citizen or otherwise have authorization to work in the United States, • Associate degree (Bachelor degree preferred), • Have the ability to pass an Atlanta Public Schools background check, • Excellent communication and organizational skills, • Strong public speaking and presentation skills, • Self-motivated leader who can work independently as well as part of team, • Strong interpersonal skills, • Knowledge of family engagement research and literature, • Strong knowledge of computers and fundamental technology (i.e. IPAD, elearning software, etc.), • Understands and respects the diversity of families’ economic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds and situations, • Ability to host parent meetings off school sites and in the local community and/or neighborhoods, • Experience serving as an advocate for children and parents, • Experience with developing collaborative partners and building relationships with constituents in the community, • Salary: $50,875.00, • Teacher Retirement System (TRS) pension, 403b plan, paid time off, health, vision, and dental insurance, employer-paid life insurance, and short and long-term disability benefits., • JOB CLASSIFICATION:, • Work Days: 202 school staff, • Salaried/Hourly, Full-Time, Exempt

The Sales Specialist will support the Regional Director of Sales, Regional Director of Operations and Community Executive Directors by working at various Discovery communities in their effort to achieve greater community occupancy and sales goals. The goal of this position is to support a community during an SLC vacancy and/or work with a community that has occupancy and census challenges to increase occupancy. This position will travel to Discovery Senior Living communities, as assigned, and work as needed. Assignments will vary in length and may be changed without notice. Responsibilities: • Responsible for census development through working support at the community level. Meets monthly sales productivity and move in expectations., • Manage lead database through accurate data entry, report utilization, periodic database clean up, etc. Review key reports and trends and analyze to develop strategies., • Understands key services and amenities along with levels of care/programs provided at the community., • Analyze and interpret information to make recommendations on business operations., • Provide expert advice to both customers and internal partners., • Complete daily internal sales activities by effectively converting inquiry calls to appointments, conducting quality tours with prospects and families. Contact prospects and families via phone, email, mail., • Distribute approved written marketing communication including notes, newsletters, promotional flyers, invitations and brochures as part of the sales process., • Provide accurate customer information, pricing, incentive information, and other information regarding new deposits to ED, BOM and community team in a timely basis for lease preparations., • Ensure the community property and team members provide an outstanding first impression for prospects., • Responds to walk in tours and phone inquiries immediately., • Attends daily stand up and informs community team of daily appointments, events, and advertising., • Completes a daily sales report with inquiry triage information and distributes to community team., • Provide weekly and monthly data and forecast as requested by ED, Regional team or home office., • Work with executive and marketing teams in developing marketing goals and strategies, • Conduct tours, luncheons or other strategies with prospective clients and prospective client groups., • Conducts visits with prospects in their homes, hospitals or other healthcare facilities., • Follow-up with inquiry calls and work sales activities and process for entire length of buying cycle., • Documentation of weekly inventory of room availability and room readiness inventory., • Assist with the processing of all required information necessary to complete a successful move-in. Coordinate with all departments to prepare for the new resident’s arrival., • Coordinate with the other staff to ensure that apartments are prepared for new resident move-in and that model apartment(s) are available and ready to show., • Coordinate with other team members’ special luncheons/tours, special events and promotions for community contact groups as appropriate., • Conduct market research by evaluating and understanding the competition and incorporate knowledge of competitor into sales strategy as it relates to pricing and selling value., • Prepare general market analysis and develop methodologies for tracking prospective residents and referral sources., • Maintain the confidentiality of resident information., • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interaction with co-workers and other departments.
