Job Description Sales Manager – Integra Auto-Retracting Pool Covers Northeastern U.S. Location: Primarily Remote – Based out of ExploreBase New Jersey (Millville, NJ) Distribution and Sales Center (Extensive travel – 60-80% – throughout NJ, DE, PA, MD, NY, CT, and surrounding states required) Join the Explore Industries Team! We’re seeking a driven Sales Manager who combines proven sales ability with a strong mechanical mindset to expand our Integra auto-retracting pool cover dealer network, drive revenue growth, and provide expert technical support across the Northeast. About the Role As Sales Manager for Integra Auto-Retracting Pool Covers, you will drive aggressive territory growth through proactive travel, lead generation, dealer recruitment, hands-on technical training, and partnership development. This field-intensive, primarily remote role requires a true hunter mentality paired with solid mechanical aptitude to prospect opportunities, conduct in-depth product demonstrations, train dealers on installation and troubleshooting, and build lasting relationships that promote Integra’s premium automatic retracting pool cover solutions.. What You’ll Do • Travel extensively (60-80% of the time) to prospect leads, visit prospective and existing dealers, perform on-site product demonstrations of our auto-retracting safety covers, and close sales., • Actively source, recruit, and onboard new dealers (pool builders, retailers, service companies, and distributors) to grow the Integra auto-retracting pool cover distribution network., • Develop strong relationships with dealers through regular in-person visits, hands-on training sessions, and ongoing technical support., • Provide technical training to dealers on installation techniques, proper cover placement, order placement processes, troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues, and best practices for Integra’s automatic retracting covers., • Educate dealers on product features, benefits, safety advantages, competitive edge, and detailed technical specifications., • Execute sales initiatives and leverage data to create business plans that increase market share and revenue., • Attend trade shows, industry events, and dealer meetings to generate leads, showcase our auto-retracting products, and elevate brand awareness., • Serve as the regional subject-matter expert on both sales strategy and technical product knowledge, monitoring trends, gathering market intelligence, and recommending solutions to drive growth and dealer success. Education & Experience: • 5+ years of sales experience in the swimming pool industry or related fields (pool products, construction, distribution, manufacturing)., • Proven success in dealer/channel sales, territory management, and new business development with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals., • Strong mechanical mindset and hands-on technical aptitude, with the ability to confidently train dealers on installation, troubleshooting, and mechanical aspects of automatic retracting pool covers., • Experience thriving in a travel-intensive, independent role., • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)., • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record., • Hunter mentality with strong prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing skills., • Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication abilities., • Technical proficiency. Comfortable demonstrating, installing, troubleshooting, and explaining mechanical systems in a clear, dealer-friendly way., • Analytical mindset. Comfortable using data, CRM tools, and market insights to drive decisions., • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
