Veterinary technicians additionally perform: * Administer, monitor, and maintain patients under general anesthesia with or without mechanical ventilation for patients with varied levels of risk. * Perform advanced vascular access techniques including jugular catheter placement, sampling line placement, central line placement, intraosseous catheterization, and arterial catheterization. * Perform advanced diagnostic techniques including ultrasonography and paracentesis, * Participate in formulating treatment, anesthetic, and nursing care plans. * Conduct treatments using clinical decision-making skills according to protocolized plans. * Aid in managing patient care workload to ensure the patients are receiving uncompromised care. * Coach and guide veterinary assistants and veterinary nurses to perform clinical tasks to maintain standards of care and encourage growth. * Collaborate and share knowledge with teammates to ensure optimal patient care. * Obtain additional training along guided growth pathways offering roles in addition to direct nursing care such as VTS certification, trainer role, coordination of care, community outreach, and leadership. Job DescriptionNRI North America is looking for a qualified Computer Support Technician to join an elite professional services organization. We have opportunities available at many of our Suffolk County locations. We are seeking a full-time (5-days per week) resource capable of performing IT support activities. The resource will be responsible for working directly with our K-12 clients including students, staff, and school district administrators. Responsibilities· Job responsibilities may vary based on client needs.· Respond to help desk tickets and assist users with hardware and software issues, providing prompt and courteous support.· Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to computers, printers, network connectivity, and other IT equipment.· Set up and configure computers, peripherals, and software applications for new and existing users.· Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.· Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and inventory of IT assets. Update knowledge base articles for common issues.· Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.· Provide training and support to users on new software and technologies, enhancing their technical skills and efficiency.· Work closely with other IT team members on projects, upgrades, and system improvements. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequired· Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.· 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.· Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.· Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Windows and macOS environments.· Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) is preferred.· Excellent communication and customer service skills.· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
