Job Description Hiring Industrial Maintenance Technician 28+/HR Job Description Join a dynamic team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a precision metal fabrication environment. This role is vital in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of machinery within a manufacturing facility that specializes in CNC machining, laser cutting, welding, forming, and assembly operations. Responsibilities • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, turret punches, press brakes, and laser cutting equipment., • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions., • Maintain MIG, TIG, and resistance welding equipment used in fabrication and assembly operations., • Calibrate machines to ensure precision and production accuracy., • Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and schematics to identify failures., • Maintain plant utilities including air compressors and HVAC systems., • Repair infrastructure including production lines and conveyors., • Follow OSHA guidelines and ensure equipment safety compliance., • Maintain maintenance logs and documentation., • Recommend improvements to machine reliability, workflow, and safety., • Assist with equipment setups and modifications for various production runs., • Collaborate with machine operators, supervisors, and engineering teams to minimize downtime., • 2–5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience., • Strong understanding of electrical systems (120V/240V/480V), hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repair., • Experience repairing CNC equipment and fabrication machinery., • Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals., • Experience in sheet‑metal fabrication or similar high‑precision manufacturing environments., • Familiarity with laser cutting systems, CNC control fundamentals, and fabrication workflows., • Basic PLC troubleshooting skills. Work Environment Work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with modern machinery and technologies. Expect to engage in a fast-paced, dynamic setting that requires a hands-on approach. The role involves standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and climbing throughout the shift, and working closely around fabrication machinery. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lee's Summit, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
