WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR As District Manager you are responsible for maximizing the assigned district's revenue and cash flow growth by efficient use of people, processes and planning. You will be responsible for the execution of an obsessive guest experience that continually exceeds guest expectations. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and vision to their District management staff in our vision to re-establish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community around the world. KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Support strategic planning, implementation and follow up initiatives amongst the team of managers in their market., • Responsible for the primary focus on corporate café operations and all aspects of corporate talent, including talent acquisition, retention and development, where applicable., • Offer guidance and mentorship to other members of the operations team in their respective market - when / where applicable., • Identifies the training needs of cafe managers and works in conjunction with training team to execute applicable training., • Facilitates one-on-one or classroom training as appropriate and needed with franchisee teams., • Creates a mentoring and supportive environment focused on continuous development of teams., • Supports franchisee owners and their GMs to ensure they have processes and procedures to manage performance, like skills evaluations and assessments and performance management, • Also support owners and GMs to ensure they are knowledgeable and aware of the training and development curriculum to ensure their teams have the training necessary to do their jobs to the best of their abilities., • Continually inspects the Region/District's Operational and Guest Service standards; consistently communicates standards to cafe managers and ensures execution at café level., • Proactively meets or exceeds guest experiences; deals promptly with complaints received and puts action plans into place to address service gaps., • Consistent with the Region/Districts plan, ensures cafe managers have specific, focused and well-executed sales and marketing plans. Evaluates cafe financial progress and performance and helps to develop action plans accordingly., • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures for food and beverage sales and consumption, food safety and health/sanitation., • Ensures that policies and procedures are in compliance with organization's policies and with all local and state regulations., • Utilizes preventive maintenance programs to maintain cafe facilities., • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs., • Other duties may be assigned. WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of progressive related experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue are required., • At least 3 to 5 years of progressive management experience managing teams., • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable., • Thorough knowledge of working Point of Sale (POS) register systems, Toast experience preferred., • Strong Inventory Planning and Management skills required., • P&L capability and sales/marketing skills and abilities., • Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible management style, with a successful record of accomplishment of managing senior operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio., • Passion for people! Must be able to Sauce, Season and package all orders according to Wingstop standards. Filter and freshen the fryer shortening daily, following all safety procedures and with proper safety equipment.     At The Food Brigade, we are committed to reducing food insecurity and food waste by connecting communities with fresh, nutritious food and supportive services. The Food Rescue & Distribution Manager plays a vital role in advancing this mission by leading the coordination of food rescue efforts and Mobile Farmer’s Market (MFM) distributions. This position ensures that high-quality food reaches those who need it most while fostering community engagement and access to essential resources. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage food rescue operations, including identifying and securing food suppliers, • Maintain ongoing communication and coordination with vendors to schedule and execute pickups, • Develop and manage distribution schedules to ensure consistent, equitable food access, • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supply, quality, and product variety, • Plan and prepare inventory for each distribution and stock the Mobile Farmer’s Market accordingly, • Assist in and co-manage all MFM distributions alongside the Driver, • Register new clients on-site and provide outreach at remote distribution locations, • Connect clients with additional services, including brick-and-mortar assistance and wraparound support programs, • Support warehouse operations, including inventory handling and organization, • Routinely lift and move 35-50 pounds unassisted, • Use a pallet jack, pallet stacker, hand truck, • Drive a cargo van, box truck, and Mobile Farmer’s Market as needed, • Conduct food pickups from suppliers/donors and delivery to our multiple locations, and ensure safe transport and handling procedures, • Prepare and deliver weekly reports to the Executive Director Collaboration: • Work closely with the Executive Director and Operations Director to support program goals and operational effectiveness Requirements: • Background check required, • Clean driving record required, • Commitment to mandatory in-house training and continuing education, including Food Handler Safety Certification, customer service, and de-escalation practices Preferred Qualifications (not required): • Experience in food rescue, food distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, • Background in nonprofit, community outreach, or social services, • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations, • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments, • Ability to operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
