Job DescriptionWe have an immediate need for an IT Field Operations Specialist in the Queens, NY area that is open to working 100% on-site and available for occasional weekend work and overnight travel. You would be responsible for a broad scope of operational support and install, move, add, and change requests supporting the IT infrastructure in office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations. Qualifications: • 0 -2 years formal IT training or 2 years equivalent work experience within IT support, • Good communication skills, • Ability to build relationships with customers, • Troubleshooting - ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions Basic Entry Requirements: • Ability to provide on-site, and on-call 7x24x365 support, as needed., • Must have a valid driver’s license., • Ability to work within a team environment. Examples of some of the Essential Responsibilities include: • Install, move, add and change (IMAC) requests supporting the IT infrastructure in office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations., • Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches., • Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions., • Producing timely and detailed service reports., • Documenting processes., • Collect and analyze performance data to provide technical assistance., • Accurately document solutions related to complex issues., • Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved., • Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers., • Build positive relationships with customers This is a great opportunity for you to join a fantastic team and company.
