The Role The Property Care Manager balances proactive sales with thoughtful customer care. Youll identify opportunities for landscape improvements, guide clients through options, and convert both new and existing relationships into long-term maintenance partnerships. Organization, follow-up, and clear communication are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Sales: Enhancements & New Maintenance Accounts • Identify and close enhancement opportunities including plantings, sod, drainage improvements, seasonal upgrades, and other residential landscape projects., • Sell new residential maintenance accounts, guiding prospective clients from initial conversation through contract execution, based on the unique needs of properties., • Prepare clear, professional proposals and confidently present recommendations in a customer-focused, value-driven way., • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust through proactive communication, responsiveness, and follow-through., • Anticipate client needs, address concerns thoughtfully, and set clear expectations throughout the sales and service process., • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, proposals, follow-ups, renewals, and commitments to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Core Skills • Relationship-Driven Sales: Proven ability to sell both ongoing service agreements and project-based work through a consultative, professional approach., • Communication: Clear, confident, and proactive communicator - strong in both written and verbal interactions., • Landscape & Horticultural Knowledge: Solid understanding of residential landscape maintenance, plant health, and enhancement work., • Organization & Follow-Through: Highly organized with strong time management and personal accountability., • Problem-Solving: Calm, solutions-focused approach when challenges arise., • Experience in high-end residential landscaping, landscape design, maintenance, or a related field., • Demonstrated success in selling new maintenance accounts and enhancement/project work., • Ability to assess property conditions and speak credibly about service quality and improvement opportunities., • Comfort managing a book of business and developing new client relationships.
