Job Description SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, INC. Executive Director Job Summary: The Executive Director is responsible for the overall coordination of business practices and quality assurance, including financial management, implementation of program strategy, and organizational administration. Direct the organization and implementation of business systems to ensure quality child care and development services are available to all families and children in Fresno County. Monitor and analyze funding streams and ensure the agency meets established compliance requirements as presented by the California Department of Social Services. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Master’s degree in Child Development or related field preferred; Bachelor’s Degree Required. · Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the non-profit sector, including at least 2 years in an executive or senior leadership position within a medium or large, complex organization. · Executive leadership experience -- has been part of an executive leadership team, has worked with a board of directors, has managed budgets, understands the drivers of organizational financial performance, strategic planning and implementation experience. · Knowledge of child care and development systems and programs · Progressive senior leadership role in a non-profit agency preferred. · Familiarity with the early care and education field, including state licensing requirements. · Experienced and comfortable working with diverse, income restricted communities, and managing diverse staff. · Experience guiding an organization through a time of organizational growth, professionalization, and transformation. · Experience working with government agencies and managing government contracts, establishing positive partnerships, fulfilling program requirements, and meeting performance and information reporting needs. Position Summary Peer Support Specialist is responsible for providing peer to peer support services including: monitoring, informing, supporting, assisting and empowering clients and their family members/caregivers who directly or indirectly receive behavioral health services; developing and coordinating activities, programs and resources which directly support clients and family members/caregivers in achieving wellness and recovery oriented goals; facilitating peer to peer assistance as a part of a team setting; conducting outreach to clients, family members/caregivers and the community; and acting in a liaison role between clients, family members/caregivers and community service providers. GENERAL JOB FUNCTION The Tissue Recovery Coordinator responds to tissue recovery cases and provides technical support for all aspects of tissue recovery for transplant and research. The Tissue Recovery Coordinator is responsible for the intraoperative leadership of the recovery team and communication to a team of other medical professional, including hospital personnel, funeral home staff and coroner or medical examiner professionals. To this audience they are the operative expert for the tissue recovery process. The Tissue Recovery Coordinator performs other clinical support related responsibilities during their scheduled shift on an as needed basis.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Arrives to work and is clocked in ready to work at the start of assigned shift. Effectively performs the surgical recovery of skin. Demonstrates annual proficiency of those recovery skills. Performs a thorough reconstruction of donor following the recovery of tissue., • Performs and verifies packaging and labeling of specimens and tissues recovered for testing, research, and/or transplant. Facilitates the timely shipping of diagnostic samples, tissues, and medical records to appropriate laboratories and processors., • Appropriately coordinates time management on the tissue recovery donor event with assigned tissue recovery coordinator peers. Consistently demonstrates a strong attention to details, excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Required to establish and maintain a basic knowledge of medical terminology, general anatomy, and disease processes.
