Professional Presentation & Venue Standards • Maintain a polished, sophisticated, and fashion-forward professional appearance appropriate for an upscale restaurant and nightlife environment., • Adhere to all established uniform, grooming, hygiene, and presentation standards., • Maintain professional body language and posture while stationed at the entrance, host desk, coat check, or throughout guest-facing areas., • Avoid personal phone use, eating, leaning, congregating, or other behavior inconsistent with the professional presentation of the venue while in guest view., • Understand that the Host team contributes directly to the atmosphere and visual presentation of the restaurant while maintaining professionalism at all times. Candidates must have commercial truck driving experience and be willing and able to drive company trucks when needed. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operation and readiness of the company vehicle fleet. Take full ownership of all vehicle maintenance, repairs, breakdowns, towing, and rentals. Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for every vehicle. Coordinate repairs with mechanics, dealerships, body shops, refrigeration technicians, towing companies, and other vendors. Track vehicles that are out of service and actively manage their return to operation. Arrange rental or replacement vehicles when needed to prevent interruptions to deliveries. Review repair estimates, recommendations, and invoices. Monitor tires, brakes, oil changes, inspections, liftgates, refrigeration systems, and other vehicle maintenance requirements. Maintain an accurate record of the condition and status of every vehicle. Work closely with dispatch and operations to ensure enough trucks are available for daily routes. Position Responsibilities The Front Desk Secretary / Spa Receptionist will be responsible for: • Greeting clients warmly and professionally upon arrival, • Answering incoming telephone calls, text messages, and client inquiries, • Scheduling, confirming, changing, and canceling appointments, • Managing the spa appointment calendar and helping maintain an efficient daily schedule using Mangomint software, • Checking clients in and out, • Processing payments and providing receipts, • Maintaining accurate client information and records, • Explaining spa services, treatments, products, packages, and promotions to clients, • Assisting clients with selecting and scheduling appropriate services, • Providing information about pricing and appointment availability, • Following up with clients regarding appointments when appropriate, • Helping promote spa services, packages, gift certificates, and retail products, • Maintaining a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming reception area, • Communicating appointment changes and client requests to technicians and other spa staff, • Assisting management with basic administrative and clerical duties, • Handling client concerns professionally and bringing appropriate matters to management's attention, • Protecting client privacy and maintaining confidentiality, • Helping ensure smooth communication between clients, technicians, and management Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: • Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills, • Professional and pleasant telephone manner, • Strong communication skills, • Good organizational and multitasking abilities, • Basic computer and technology skills, • Ability to learn appointment scheduling and point-of-sale software, • Attention to detail and accuracy, • Ability to remain professional in a busy environment, • Dependability and punctuality, • Professional appearance and attitude, • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team Previous experience as a receptionist, secretary, administrative assistant, salon/spa receptionist, medical-office receptionist, hotel front-desk associate, or customer-service representative is preferred but not necessarily required for the right candidate. EOE POSITION SUMMARY: CRED is a cohort-based vocational training program for at-risk individuals between the ages of 18-40 years old. The program provides classroom instruction, case management services, internship opportunities, and job placement services designed to help clients earn a Commercial Driver’s License and obtain employment in the transportation industry. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management services including, but not limited to, mental health support, career counseling, personal guidance and development, life skills, and referrals. The Social Worker will work in both individual and group settings to help clients overcome personal and professional barriers. The individual selected for this position will be under the direct supervision of the CRED Program Director, will conduct themselves in a professional manner, and will comply with all standards set forth by United Activities Unlimited and the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to): • Conduct intake interviews to understand each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals., • Collect all required program documentation from clients, including enrollment, outcome, and follow-up paperwork., • Work with clients to develop an Individual Service Strategy (ISS) that reflects SMART short-and-long-term goals., • Provide case management services including regular check-ins to assess progress towards personal and professional goals., • Provide individual and group counseling, including but not limited to, mental health, behavior management, and mediation services., • Work collaboratively with other CRED staff members to conduct case planning and draft case notes according to DYCD requirements., • Refer clients in need of greater support to community based social service providers., • Maintain positive working relationships with social services agencies and other community partners to enrich programming, internship, and employment opportunities in alignment with client’s interests and ISS., • Assist other CRED staff members with conducting follow-up services, including obtaining compliance documentation from former clients., • Collect, maintain, and audit client files for completion and accuracy in accordance with DYCD and UAU policies., • Participate in team meetings, conferences, professional development trainings, and other program-related events and activities., • Work collaboratively with other CRED staff members to ensure the program meets all DYCD goals, deliverables, and deadlines., • Assist with other departmental duties and projects as needed.
