Job Description The Cure Violence Bronx Violence Interrupter Supervisor works with program staff, community residents, businesses, and community-based organizations of all types to implement strategies to reduce and prevent shootings and killings in selected “hot spot” areas within the Bronx 47th Precinct, which comprises Woodlawn, Wakefield, Williamsbridge, Baychester, Edenwald, Olinville, and Fishbay. The Violence Interrupter Supervisor assists the Program Director in coordinating regular mobilization and public education activities, as well as supervising other program staff and conducting community outreach.
