Job Description Job Title: Project Manager, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Program Department: School of Education Reports to: Dean, School of Education Effective Date: August 1, 2025 of Direct Reports: 0 of People Supported: 0 Job Description: The Project Manager for the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Program (Project Manager) provides end-to-end leadership for the online program in Applied Behavior Analysis. This role oversees curriculum design and instructional quality, ensuring alignment with standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and accreditation requirements of the Association for Behavior Analysis International. The position leads assessment and continuous improvement efforts, including data-driven evaluation of student outcomes. In partnership with admissions and marketing, the role also drives enrollment strategy, optimizing recruitment, retention, and program growth while enhancing the overall student experience in a high-quality online learning environment. Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Online Program Development • Lead the design and continuous improvement of the online ABA curriculum, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavior Analysis competencies and industry standards, • Partner with Manhattanville’s instructional designers to develop engaging, high-quality asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences, • Transition the program to an accelerated format, • Ensure all courses meet quality benchmarks (e.g., accessibility, student engagement, measurable learning outcomes), • Oversee course mapping to certification requirements such as those set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, • Monitor student experience data (retention, satisfaction, completion rates) and implement improvements, • Evaluate and integrate learning technologies that enhance online delivery and student outcomes 2. Accreditation & Assessment • Collaborate with program faculty to lead the program’s preparation for and maintenance of Association for Behavior Analysis International accreditation, • Ensure curriculum, faculty qualifications, and student outcomes align with ABAI standards, • Design and manage a comprehensive assessment plan, including direct and indirect measures of student learning, • Collect, analyze, and report data on student achievement, fieldwork performance, and certification exam outcomes, • Coordinate accreditation documentation, self-studies, and site visit preparation, • Establish continuous improvement cycles based on assessment findings, • Collaborate with faculty and leadership to ensure compliance with institutional and external regulatory requirements 3. Enrollment Management • Along with the program coordinator, collaborate with admissions and marketing to develop and execute recruitment strategies for the online ABA program, • Monitor enrollment funnel metrics (inquiries, applications, yield, retention) and optimize performance, • Identify target student populations (e.g., working professionals, career changers) and refine program positioning, • Support development of messaging that highlights program quality, certification pathways, and career outcomes, • Analyze market trends and competitor programs to inform pricing, modality, and program offerings, • Implement retention strategies to improve persistence and graduation rates, • Contribute to forecasting and enrollment planning in alignment with institutional goals Required Skills/Abilities: · Online pedagogy and course design · Enrollment management · Knowledge of ABAI accreditation Qualifications Education: · A Doctoral degree in Behavior Analysis, or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university. Equivalent terminal degrees in relevant disciplines will also be considered. · Must possess Behavior Analyst Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®). Nationally certified Experience: · At least one year of teaching at an undergraduate and/or graduate level · A minimum of one year of professional experience in ABA practice and ABA supervision · A record of scholarly activity, applied research, or professional presentation in the field of ABA Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Salary: The annual salary range for this position is $69,300 to $75,000 Hours Expectation: Full-time, 35 hours per week Housing: Housing is not provided.
