The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality cardiology services are delivered in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner to both inpatients and outpatients. This role is crucial for providing essential services that affect patient care while upholding our commitment to quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities: • Perform cardiac ultrasound exams including 2D, M-mode, Doppler color, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), and stress echocardiograms., • Interpret echocardiographic exams for preliminary reporting to identify any critically abnormal findings, promptly reporting these to the supervising physician., • Clean and disinfect TEE probes in adherence to infection control standards., • Accurately record and report results of all procedures., • Respond to requests for 'stat/emergency echocardiograms' during designated hours., • Maintain accurate and detailed records in line with service delivery standards., • Comply with all operational policies and perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills & Experience: • Attention to detail and strong collaboration abilities., • Ongoing commitment to continuous learning and professional development., • Initiative and sound judgment critical for problem-solving., • Proven technical expertise in cardiac sonography. Preferred Skills & Experience: • N/A Education Requirements: • Required: High School Diploma or GED., • Preferred: Associate's degree from a recognized cardiac ultrasonography program. Certifications & Licensure: • Required: RDMS Certification from ARDMS or RCS from CCI, along with a BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)., • Preferred: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI.
