The Service Technician is a Diesel technician who preferably has experience in the heavy equipment industry. This person will be required to have mechanical expertise, including diesel, to support the needs of the branch in a professional, safe, and timely manner. You will be performing maintenance services, including repairs for diesel-run equipment. QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • Associate degree or Related Trade Certification (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or Military Training (electrical, mechanical, electronics.), • Minimum of two years-experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment., • Possesses basic technical knowledge of X-Ray technologies., • While supervision is not considered a primary responsibility of this position, there may be instances where supervision of others on a project basis may be required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • This job operates in what is typically considered off-site locations, wherever SureScan Corp designates. Service will typically be rendered at airports, correctional facilities, courthouses, cruise ships or other locations as required. This role routinely uses computers and electrical and mechanical tools., • While performing some duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
