Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/30/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel $500 Completion Bonus Position: IR Tech Shift: 4x10hr Days - 7:30a to 6p + on-call EOW Job Summary The Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under the supervision of a physician within the Angio Interventional Radiology or Neuro IR services. Responsibilities include conducting extra-cranial and intracranial angiography, vertebroplasty, spinal injections, myelograms, cisternograms, embolizations, cryoablations, coilings, and clot retrievals. This role focuses on enhancing customer service to all stakeholders, including hospital employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies. Job Responsibilities • Provide technical support for all IR and neurointerventional procedures, including discograms, aspirations, therapeutic injections, angiography, and ablations., • Assist in both sterile and non-sterile neurointerventional procedures, such as tumor, epistaxis, and spinal lesion embolizations., • Operate advanced imaging equipment while adhering to established guidelines and imaging protocols for interventional and neurointerventional procedures., • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and radiation safety practices., • Instruct and mentor students and residents when necessary., • Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment., • Maintain inventory of supplies for all IR and neuro IR procedures., • Utilize hospital information systems for IR scheduling and documentation., • Review coding procedures to ensure accurate billing for all neuro IR and IR procedures., • Engage in continuous learning by attending educational lectures, seminars, and reading relevant materials., • Follow accepted clinical principles and methods while performing or overseeing interventional diagnostic procedures., • Maintain patient and hospital information confidentiality., • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, particularly concerning incident reporting., • Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Skills & Experience, • Attention to Detail, • Collaboration, • Continuous Learning, • Initiative, • Judgment and Critical Thinking, • Problem Solving, • Quality Focus, • Reliability, • Technical ExpertiseRequired Education, • Associate’s degree in radiologic technologyRequired Certifications & Licensure, • New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist, • ARRT(R) certification, • Vision benefits, • Life insurance, • Weekly pay, • License and certification reimbursement, • Guaranteed Hours, • Referral bonus, • Medical benefits, • Dental benefits
