Job DescriptionDescription: Position Summary The HVAC and Plumbing Estimator/Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and preparing accurate and competitive estimates for both HVAC and plumbing systems. This role combines technical estimating expertise with customer-facing sales responsibilities to drive revenue growth and ensure successful project outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Sales & Customer Relations • Identify and pursue residential HVAC and plumbing sales opportunities., • Conduct on-site consultations to evaluate customer needs and present system options., • Prepare and present proposals, close sales, and guide customers through the sales process., • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote repeat business and referrals. Estimating & Proposal Development • Evaluate job sites, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for HVAC and plumbing systems., • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure feasibility and scope alignment., • Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and material take-offs., • Ensure all estimates comply with local codes, company standards, and safety regulations. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise • Recommend equipment and system solutions based on performance, efficiency, and customer needs., • Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and code changes in both HVAC and plumbing., • Understand and articulate the value of different system configurations and upgrades. Administrative & Reporting • Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, sales activity, and project status., • Use estimating tools and CRM software to manage pipeline and track performance., • Report regularly to management on goals, progress, and market trends. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) • 3+ years of estimating and/or sales experience in HVAC and/or plumbing trades., • Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, installation methods, and building codes., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills., • Proficiency with estimating software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office., • Field and office-based role with regular site visits and customer meetings., • May require flexible hours to accommodate client schedules., • Prolonged screen viewing., • Lifting up to 25 pounds. Job Description Job Overview: The Service Lead is responsible for managing work orders for a specific client, region and/or trade based on Account Manager’s direction. This role involves vendor management, negotiating with vendors, project management and communication through third party portals of customers. Will report directly to an Account Manager. Fast paced position with a need for excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of trades including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is a plus. Directly Reports To: Account Manager Job Responsibilities: • Assign and dispatch correct sub-contractors to work orders based on their ability to meet scope, pricing, timelines and customer’s KPIs., • Consistent and frequent communication with sub-contractors to ensure timelines are met., • Track and receive info from sub-contractors regarding pricing and scopes. Verify scopes are correct and photos have been submitted., • Work with Account Manager on any service WO escalation including immediate increase needed from customer, issues on ongoing project, scheduling delays and/or cancellations., • Negotiate pricing with sub-contractors. Detail all info, review for accuracy, and prior to sending to estimator., • Evaluate and reconcile sub-contractor invoices. Communicate with sub-contractors if there are inaccuracies or disputes., • Communicate with sub-contractors regarding any issues or concerns on the job site. This includes changes in scopes, additional work needed, and pricing., • Entering notes into the service portal as well as the client portals.
