Win-win! Who You Are: As a Marketing & Events Manager, you’re a positive and enthusiastic people-person, who may just so happen to have a passion for fruit, superfoods, and all things healthy! You will be responsible for overseeing all marketing, catering & events for Playa Bowls' 14 Greater Boston-area locations. If you enjoy fast-paced environments, career growth, entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and an occasional silly food pun, we want you! What You’ll Do: • Oversee all marketing, catering & events for Playa Bowls Boston-area locations., • Must have a car and ability to drive to and execute on events (including set up and break down)., • Manage and track all in-bound/out-bound events, sponsorships, festivals, etc. Expect to be onsite to assist in preparation and execution., • Manage and track all catering (ezCater and in-store) inquiries, orders and requests. Expect to be onsite to assist in preparation and execution., • Manage and track all store-level fundraisers and donations., • Manage and track our local-level Playa Bowls Athlete program., • Coordinate with management and individual stores on event staffing, product management, catering orders., • Coordinate with our Social Media Manager on upcoming events, giveaways, and other promotions., • Assist in content creation for our Social Media Manager, • Focus on outreach for catering and events, building on a master contact list., • Hold team accountable for excellence in product quality, consistency and execution, speed of service, cleanliness and maintenance, and customer service., • Foster Positive Energy in the work environment to accomplish business results (increased customer counts, increased sales, and increased profits)., • Meet quarterly financial and operational targets. What You Bring: • Previous experience (and/or degree) in marketing or event coordination, • Highly organized and detail-oriented, • An effective communicator and a team player, • The ability to pitch in where needed and able to do what it takes to get the job done, • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint, • Strong work ethic and an enthusiasm to grow with us!, • And most importantly, FUN MISSION Inspire and support our communities one bowl at a time.
