RequirementsEducation and Experience • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred but not required. A journalism-related field of study is a plus., • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the news media industry, including experience in a newsroom or other fast-paced, deadline-driven news environment., • At least 1-2 years producing an interview-format show is required., • Experience working effectively with high-profile hosts is preferred., • Relevant professional certifications, courses and fellowships preferred., • Awards or formal recognition in journalism or media are considered strong indicators of excellence and are helpful to include.
