POSITION OVERVIEW The HARP Care Manager develops, facilitates, and communicates a plan of care in partnership with the member, his/her assigned Health Home, primary caregiver, the primary and attending physicians, and various Behavioral Health and/or Substance Use Disorder providers. In partnership with these parties, the HARP Care Manager assesses, plans, facilitates, and advocates for options and services to meet a HARP member’s complex health needs through communication and available resources. In addition, the HARP Care Manager is responsible for scheduling aftercare follow-up for members discharging from an acute behavioral health inpatient setting. This position ensures that members have a scheduled appointment in place, completes follow-up and reminder call to member and follows up with providers to ensure member’s compliance with aftercare. This position requires that most case management activities will be performed in field via community and facilities outreach. 9:00AM-5:00PM • Clinically assess members for acute behavioral and physical health needs. Job Duties Executive & Legal Support • Serve as the primary administrative support for the Chairman and CCO, managing complex priorities, communications and confidential matters with discretion and sound judgement., • Support legal and compliance initiatives, including document preparation, proofreading, version control, and the coordination of approvals., • Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, agreements, presentations, and executive materials with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism., • Manage dynamic, frequently changing calendars with competing priorities and minimal notice., • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and real-time adjustments., • Provide administrative and operational support to legal and compliance functions, including engagement letters, proposals, invoices, expense reports, and timekeeping., • Support compliance initiatives by assisting with documentation, tracking approvals, and maintaining audit‑ready records., • Coordinate preparation for compliance reviews and external legal or regulatory engagements., • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for legal, executive and compliance records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements., • Assist with records retention and information governance, including adherence to retention schedules, legal holds, and approved document destruction practices., • Anticipate executive needs and proactively address issues before they escalate., • Collaborate closely with other executive assistants, legal staff, and operations teams., • Provide backup support to senior administrative colleagues, as needed. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May occasionally require working additional hours or working outside regular business hours due to either last-minute schedule changes and/or urgent and important matters. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, much of the work may be done sitting at a desk, using a computer, typing, handling phone calls, filing, and using office equipment such as l printers and copiers. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Summary of Position Responsible for upholding the standard for code review functions in the setting of business/industry/legislative issues relating to, and impacting, quality coding audit and compliance issues. Identify inconsistencies and coding compliance risks between EH reimbursement policies and claims which directly impact claim payment (i.e. authorizations) and responsible for working with leadership to bring to resolution. Audit inpatient and outpatient medical records to ensure clinical documentation supports the conditions and DRGs billed and reimbursed. Principal Accountabilities • Audit internal and external business partners (processes and results) for accurate claim coding reviews for various programs, pre- and post-payment., • Review reporting for outlier provider claims; request patient medical records to assign diagnoses, treatments, and surgical and non-surgical procedures for facility and medical services for coding and payment integrity., • Analyze and audit claims by integrating medical chart coding principles, clinical guidelines, and objectivity in the performance of medical audit activities., • Identify potential documentation and coding errors by recognizing aberrant coding and documentation patterns such as inappropriate billing for readmissions, inpatient admission status, and Hospital-Acquired Conditions (HACs)., • Provide audit reporting, results, and recommendations to management and SIU as appropriate., • Analyze results to assess compliance with regulations, identify procedural weaknesses and education needs that contribute to instances for non-compliance both to business, external business partners, and providers., • Prepare formal written reports summarizing current state (findings), desired future state, and critical success factors., • Perform audits of changes to coding introduced by new medical policies, reimbursement policies, regulatory changes, and business requirements on a quarterly basis., • Participate in RPC, RPCW, Medical Policy Committee (MPC) and Medical Policy Committee Workgroup (MPCW) as added Coding Integrity representation at meetings; ensure that decisions are appropriate and will result in accurate., • Claim reimbursement., • Identify reimbursement and coding variances from industry standards and brings to leader's attention., • Continuously gains knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS and business/industry/legislative issues relating to and impacting Quality Coding Audit and Compliance issues., • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a healthcare, quantitative/analytical, or business-related field of study, • AAPC CPC (AAPC Certified Professional Coder) & AAPC CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder)/or CCS (AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist), • AAPC CPMA (AAPC Certified Professional Medical Auditor), • 4 - 6+ years of coding experience, • 1+ year auditing experience, • Extensive knowledge of inpatient DRG clinical documentation review, • Additional related work experience/specialized training may be considered in lieu of educational requirements, • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.), • Attention to detail; and ability to communicate or escalate issues in a timely manner, • Ability to independently prioritize and complete multiple tasks with competing priority levels and deadlines, • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment, • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types and levels of audiences Additional Information • Requisition ID: 26037, • Hiring Range: $68,040-$118,800
