Job Description This is a high-impact, leadership role responsible for the rapid, profitable expansion of the brand's global Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) digital ecosystem. As the Director of DTC & E-commerce Growth, you will be the chief architect of our digital commercial strategy, holding full P&L accountability for the e-commerce website, emerging social commerce platforms, and all associated direct revenue channels. The primary mandate is to aggressively run and increase the brand's digital market share. You will define the long-term growth roadmap, optimize every stage of the customer lifecycle, and lead a cross-functional team and external partners to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets while ensuring a world-class customer experience. Key Responsibilities I. Strategy, Market Share, and P&L Command • DTC Market Share Expansion: Develop and execute a definitive strategy to significantly increase the brand's market share within the competitive e-commerce landscape, driving sustained, double-digit growth year-over-year., • Full P&L Ownership: Own and manage the entire DTC profit and loss (P&L) statement, including rigorous sales forecasting, budget allocation across technology and marketing, and driving profitability., • Holistic Growth Roadmap: Define the 3-year digital road map, ensuring cohesion between product launches, marketing campaigns, and technological investments to maximize direct revenue velocity., • Emerging Channels: Relentlessly identify, pilot, and scale new direct digital retail opportunities (e.g., social commerce, marketplaces, international expansion) to diversify revenue streams. II. E-commerce Operations and Conversion Excellence • Platform Leadership: Oversee the strategic direction, operational stability, and continuous improvement of the core e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify Plus, SFCC), ensuring peak performance, scalability, and site speed., • Advanced CRO Strategy: Architect and champion a rigorous A/B testing, personalization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) program based on deep user behavior and data analytics (Google Analytics 4, heatmaps, session recording)., • Premium Merchandising: Lead the digital merchandising strategy, ensuring optimal product catalog presentation, compelling digital storytelling, and flawless execution of all promotional and launch calendars. III. Customer Acquisition and Lifetime Value (CLV) • Cross-Channel Performance: Drive tight alignment and performance synchronization across all customer acquisition channels (Paid Search, Social Ads, Affiliate, SEO) and retention initiatives (Email/SMS, Loyalty, Subscription)., • Retention Architecture: Deeply analyze customer segmentation and lifecycle data to build and scale retention marketing strategies and loyalty programs designed to maximize repeat purchase rates and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV). IV. Leadership, Analytics, and Governance • Data-Driven Leadership: Serve as the internal authority on DTC performance, delivering rigorous analysis, weekly/monthly performance reviews, and actionable strategic insights to executive leadership., • Vendor and Agency Management: Lead the selection, negotiation, and oversight of all third-party vendors and agency partners related to site development, technology integration (ERP, fulfillment), and performance marketing., • Team Development: Mentor, coach, and grow direct reports and cross-functional partners, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture focused on data integrity and ownership. Qualifications • Experience & Tenure: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive, results-driven experience in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior management or Director-level capacity., • DTC P&L Expertise (MANDATORY): Non-negotiable, proven track record of owning and successfully scaling the P&L of a high-growth DTC business, specifically demonstrating experience in increasing digital market share., • Industry Focus: Proven success in scaling an e-commerce platform within the high-growth Cosmetics, Beauty, Skincare, or premium CPG sectors., • Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with leading enterprise e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.) and advanced analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Tableau)., • Ecosystem Command: Deep, functional expertise across the entire DTC technology ecosystem, including CRM/Email platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive), CRO tools, and back-end fulfillment/inventory workflows., • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required. MBA or equivalent advanced business experience preferred., • Leadership Acumen: Exceptional ability to lead, influence, and align highly specialized, cross-functional teams (Operations, Creative, Finance) toward aggressive commercial targets.
