We seek an exceptional Outside Sales Representative for the New Jersey territory to continue our business growth. Our three wine brands, Domenico Winery, Gloria J Wines, and Due Fratelli, are known for their unique character and exceptional quality, enhancing the dining experience at top-tier restaurants. As we expand our reach, we seek a motivated, results-driven sales professional to introduce our portfolio to BYOB restaurants across New Jersey and build lasting relationships within the industry. In addition to producing high-quality wines, Domenico Winery is an established tasting room, event venue, restaurant, and catering company in San Carlos and Amador, CA. We craft various wines and rare Cal-Italia varietals and offer corporate and private clients a space for meetings, team-building activities, and large-scale events. Position Overview: As an Outside Sales Representative for Domenico Winery, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our existing presence in the New Jersey BYOB restaurant market. You will work closely with restaurant owners, chefs, and beverage directors to introduce, promote, and sell our premium selection of wines. This field-based position requires a solid ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and drive sales in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities: • Sales and Business Development: Identify and target new BYOB restaurant accounts while nurturing relationships with existing clients to increase sales., • Product Education: Educate restaurant staff and owners about Domenico Wines, Gloria J Wines, and Due Fratelli wines, including wine offerings, food pairings, and the story behind our brand., • Client Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers (owners, managers, beverage directors) to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty., • Sales Goals: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while managing a pipeline of opportunities., • Promotions and Events: Organize and execute wine tastings, dinners, and events to showcase Domenico Wines and enhance brand visibility., • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to position Domenico Wines effectively in the marketplace., • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account details, and customer interactions. Provide regular updates to management., • Warehouse: Maintain and organize a 3300-square-foot warehouse that stores the three brands of wines staged for delivery and inventory control., • Delivery Operations: The candidate is responsible for taking customer orders, obtaining payment, and delivering customers' orders., • Delivery Vehicle: The candidate is responsible for maintaining the delivery vehicle.Formal Licenses and Permitting: Prepare, submit, and monitor new BYOB Alcohol Beverage Control outlet license and permit applications for each new outlet signed up., • Proven sales experience and delivery experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, preferably within the wine or beverage sector., • A passion for wine and a strong willingness to learn about wine styles, pairings, and the wine industry., • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence restaurant decision-makers., • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively., • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned New Jersey territory., • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation., • Previous experience working in or with the New Jersey restaurant market is a plus., • Wine certifications (e.g., WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers) are a plus but not required., • ABC Solicitors License is required for each brand., • Competitive base salary plus commission based on sales performance., • Flexible schedule with the ability to work independently., • Opportunities for career growth within a dynamic, family-owned company., • Discounts on Domenico Wines for personal consumption., • Reimbursement for Gas, Tolls, and Vehicle repairs., • Compensation: Bi-weekly draw plus commissions based on Sales. The approximate compensation range is $65,000 -$72,000. Compensation can be increased as sales increase.
