Job DescriptionJob Title: Medical Assistant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our expanding team at a Pain Management Clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with no weekend shifts and the potential for occasional overtime. Responsibilities • Room patients and prepare examination rooms., • Enter patient history into the EMR system efficiently., • Take and record vital signs including body temperature, pulse, blood pressure, height, and weight., • Set up the injection table for providers to administer injections., • Prepare urine samples and perform urinalysis for providers., • Ensure quick turnover by efficiently managing the flow of returning patients, with each provider seeing 30-35 patients per day.Essential Skills, • 1-2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant., • Experience using an EMR system, Athena is preferred., • High school diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Proficiency in medical assisting, patient care, and taking vitals., • Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment is advantageous.Work Environment The position is based at a Pain Management Clinic, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of staying until 5:30 PM if necessary. The role involves handling a high volume of patients daily. Occasionally, travel to the Woodbury, NJ location may be required. The clinic is part of a growing company with locations in six states along the east coast, offering excellent benefits and a collaborative work culture. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Vineland, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
