(AMP), supporting ColumbiaDoctors, is currently seeking enthusiastic and professional Phlebotomists to join our growing team. AMP is a Management Services Organization (MSO) that provides clinical and administrative support to ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. Key Responsibilities: • Provide safe and compassionate phlebotomy services to adult patients in a multi-specialty setting in collaboration with health care providers and support teams., • Monitor phlebotomy testing schedules and prepare for daily volume, including confirmation of all test orders., • Accurately verify and enter patient and test information and ensure proper labeling of specimens., • Perform venipuncture blood collection safely and accurately., • Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, including processing and transport following all standard practice procedures., • Manage availability and proper functioning of phlebotomy supplies, as well as routine quality controls and instrument maintenance per policy., • 2 years of relevant work experience, • Proficient phlebotomy skills, aseptic technique, standard precautions, and HIPAA practices, • EPIC experience, • Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting, • Familiarity with lab order entry and specimen handling protocols, • Graduate of an approved Phlebotomy course with Certificate of Completion (Required), • BLS Certification (Required), • AHA, BLS Certification (Required) Salary Range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered for this position at the time of this job ad and may be modified in the future.
