Harlem Shake is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations at our Harlem location. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, maintain strong operational standards, and provide an excellent guest experience. This is an active floor-management position that requires someone who can coach employees, solve problems, maintain accountability, and step into any area of the restaurant when needed. As we continue to scale our CPG business across retail channels nationwide, this role is critical to ensuring our products move efficiently, on time, and on budget from our production facility to distributors, retail partners, and DTC fulfillment centers. Beyond freight, this role owns CPG inventory management end to end, weeks of supply (WOS) tracking, on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance at retailers, and inventory transfers across our 3PL network and supports our scoop shop business through 3PL inventory management, intercompany freight coordination, and logistics cost management and controls. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of operations, vendor management, and customer service. You'll work closely with our production, sales, and finance teams to coordinate domestic freight movements, manage carrier relationships, manage inventory health across our distributor and 3PL network, and help build the logistics infrastructure that supports Van Leeuwen's next stage of growth. This role will be based out of our Bronx office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office at least two to three days a week. Position Summary The Prep Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily prep and batch production operations, ensuring all products are prepared accurately, safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role supervises daily production execution, team assignments, inventory and par levels, quality control, and production performance. The Prep Production Supervisor is responsible for executing against established operational metrics and escalating issues that may impact product availability, quality, food safety, or production deadlines. This position works closely with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure production needs are met across all locations. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Execution • Create and compile daily par sheets to determine current inventory levels and identify prep and batch production needs., • Assign daily prep and production tasks based on par levels, inventory, staffing, and operational priorities., • Create and oversee daily prep and batch production schedules for the current location., • Ensure assigned prep and production tasks are completed accurately and within required timelines., • Maintain appropriate par levels for all batch-produced items in walk-in coolers and storage areas., • Ensure production is completed on time to prevent product shortages and 86s., • Oversee the preparation and fulfillment of production orders for current and upcoming satellite locations., • Monitor production throughout the shift and adjust staffing, assignments, and priorities as operational needs change., • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, organization, workflow, and capacity., • Escalate production delays, equipment downtime, staffing shortages, inventory issues, or other barriers that may impact production.
