May or may not be assigned to a specific classroom and will help in other classrooms as needed. Supervises the class(es) during nap and break times when the Lead Teacher/Teacher are out of the classroom, helps with meals, safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and School. May be required to work with various age groups. Essential Functions/Job Duties & Responsibilities: Assists the Lead Teacher in implementing the daily program for children, including the following: o Preparation and cleanup of daily programming and activities. o Curriculum and child assessments o Ensure children are taught to read and write in the English language. o Help children learn to think creatively, solve problems, and respect themselves and others. Understands and can articulate learning outcomes up and down. Utilizes digital technologies to communicate with parents and to facilitate intentional lesson planning. Implements and follows all proper supervision techniques as required by the company and state licensing. Guides children in a positive manner displaying friendly, affectionate, enthusiastic and caring behaviors. Supervises and facilitates the classroom and the learning, according to the plans of the Lead Teacher and/or Teacher in the absence of the Lead Teacher or Teacher. Helps with meal and snack preparation, feeding children, modeling table manners at family style meals. Assists with ensuring the classroom is organized, clean and tour ready at all times. Interacts with children on the playground/classroom taking part in activities that include bending, stooping, jumping and other physical activities as indicated under the physical requirements section. Provides exceptional customer service to the families and children we serve, which includes maintaining strict confidentiality regarding children and families. Greet every family, child and visitor who enters the school/classroom with a warm and sincere welcome. Assist parents at drop off and pick up times. Acknowledge all departing families, children and visitors with a farewell. Respond to all questions and requests in friendly and timely manner. Works to prevent injuries and accidents; follows all procedures related to injuries and accidents if one should occur. Reports child injuries and hazards promptly to the Lead Teacher/Teacher and Director. Required to attend all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by the School; this is mandatory not optional. Participates in QRIS or accreditation goals and performs the associated classroom requirements to meet those goals where applicable. Reports suspected child abuse/neglect to local child protective agency/hotline as mandated by state law. Performs other related duties as requested by a member of management or Lead Teacher. Regular attendance is required. Responsible for daily cleaning duties which include sweeping , mopping, disposing of trash. Supervision: No direct reports. Education/Experience: Required: Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience. Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences Be available for full time employment and available to work as late as 7:00 pm Previous work experience in an office environment preferred Have dependable transportation Certification/Licensure: CDA preferred CPR and First Aid certified preferred If applicable, must maintain required units, certifications etc., as required by the state and Company. Their core purpose is to maintain the store operations in order to facilitate a seamless customer experience. An Operations Supervisor plays a key role in supporting company and management initiatives/direction while ensuing adherence to the policies and procedures as outlined by the organization. The Operations Supervisor base pay ranges from $21-22 hourly. What You’ll Do • Partner with the Operations Supervisor and Store Management to ensure positive brand representation as portrayed through product, store maintenance, and customer service., • Supervise with inventory and stock management, • Ensure maximization of storage and capacity in all product and supply categories, • Manage investigation and rectification of inventory discrepancies, • Lead the achievement of low inventory shrink and high inventory accuracy by ensuring consistent execution at all inventory touchpoints: receiving, transfers, RTV, sales, and cycle counts, • Ensure timely and consistent communication and follow up for all store maintenance issues, • Serve as store expert in core operational systems, educate store staff and troubleshoot technology issues in partnership with the corporate IT Team, • Work with the sales team to provide exemplary customer service: Assist with POS, customer repairs, dry-cleaning, and alterations processes, • Have proper understanding of BOH/FOH IT systems, including POS transaction, • Lead Sales Support team execution of store initiatives, • Provide training and direction to direct reports, peers, and management, • Partner with store management to resolve customer service issues, • Manage customer repairs, dry-cleaning, and alterations programs, • Meet store and metric goals, • Ensure brand mission is brought to life and introduced to everyone that walks into our store, • Maintain a knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures, • Consistently act within the core values of rag & bone, • Identify opportunities to support the team in delivering best in class customer service through extensive product knowledge and operational ownership, • The Customer Rules – 2-4 years of prior work experience in a retail stock, logistics, operations, or management position, • Be a Good Human - Be original, be authentic, • Have No Fear - Innovate, solve problems, • Own Every Decision - Work together, get results, • Quality Matters - Be disciplined, be competitive The Operations Supervisor role is full-time and requires 32-40 hours per week.
