Job Description Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Vineland, NJ 13 Weeks 36 Hours Nights 12 (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Job Overview Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department (ED) team on a travel assignment. Our 70-bed ED requires the ability to assume care of adult and pediatric patients, with access to critical care equipment such as ventilators and BiPAP. We offer auto offers for candidates with less than 2 weeks of RTO. The unit handles a high volume of patients, requiring proficiency in fast-paced, critical care environments. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity ED setting., • Utilize critical care equipment, including ventilators and BiPAP, as needed., • Manage patient ratios of 1:4-5., • Utilize Cerner for charting and documentation., • Adhere to all safety protocols and unit-specific procedures.Education & Experience:, • Three (3) years of recent ED experience required., • BSN preferred., • Travel experience required (must have completed at least one contract assignment)., • High volume/fast pace experience preferred.Certifications & Licensure:, • Valid NJ License or Compact License., • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)., • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)., • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)., • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)., • 8 hours of stroke CEUs., • 8 hours of trauma CEUs., • Note: Pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission are not accepted.Schedule & Availability:, • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) or 3 per month depending on unit needs., • Holiday: None required., • RTO (Requested Time Off): No more than 3 days accepted. Auto offers available for candidates with less than 2 weeks RTO., • No block scheduling or special requests.Additional Details, • Scrub Color: Navy Blue., • Candidates will receive an email directly from client the Friday before a Monday start. This email will include:, • Instructions for signing on to the Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream Module from Human Resources (prior to 8:30 AM on Monday)., • Monday GEO (General Education Orientation) will be virtual from the candidate's own computer. Assigned modules must be completed by Monday, or the candidate will be removed from the orientation list., • In-person class schedule (typically Tuesday-Thursday), held in multiple locations. Candidates must use HealthStream to determine class locations on the day of. Note: The POCT (Point-of-Care Testing) class is required but not during orientation week., • Unit-based orientation schedule from the manager., • Badge ID Link: Instructions on how to make an in-person appointment to receive the ID badge.
