Job Description Overview Veronique Oro Corp. is a fine jewelry manufacturer delivering high-quality production and high-touch service for our customers. We work closely with clients to translate ideas into finished pieces – balancing craftsmanship, timelines, and clear communication. We’re hiring a Sales Associate to drive revenue by developing new customers and growing existing accounts, while ensuring excellent execution from start to finish – from initial idea, to CAD / production coordination, to delivery and collections. This role blends business development, account management, and hands-on operational follow-through. You should be comfortable with sales conversations – including navigating difficult situations when needed – and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Reponsibilities Business Development (New Customers) • Prospect and develop new customers through outbound outreach (e.g., cold calling, email outreach, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up)., • Qualify leads, understand customer needs, and present Veronique Oro Corp.’s manufacturing capabilities and services., • Maintain a consistent outreach cadence and track activity in internal systems / CRM., • Manage and grow assigned accounts by identifying additional opportunities, re-orders, new product needs, and service improvements., • Provide high-touch service and proactive communication to strengthen long-term customer relationships., • Coordinate the full lifecycle of customer projects: concept → CAD interpretation / revisions → production → QC / shipping → post-delivery follow-up → collections., • Work cross-functionally with CAD, production, operations, and shipping to keep timelines on track., • Maintain accurate order details, pricing, and status updates in internal systems / CRM., • Review and interpret CAD renders / technical details to confirm requirements and answer customer questions. There is no need to be a CAD designer., • Flag potential issues (measurements, stone fit, manufacturability) and route questions to the right internal stakeholders., • Support collections efforts by tracking outstanding balances and following up with customers professionally., • Coordinate payment timelines and documentation with internal finance / operations., • Support internal projects as needed (process improvements, sales materials, pricing updates, data cleanup, etc.)., • Contribute to improving speed, accuracy, and customer experience. What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) • Establish a consistent outbound cadence and begin building a qualified pipeline of new prospects., • Strengthen relationships with key existing customers and uncover growth opportunities., • Demonstrate reliable project execution from quote to delivery to payment., • Become confident interpreting CADs and communicating changes clearly., • Keep account / order records organized and accurate., • Handle difficult conversations (pricing, timelines, payment) professionally and effectively. Qualifications Required • 3+ year experience in sales, business development, account management, customer success, operations coordination, or client service., • Comfortable with outbound sales activity (cold calling, outreach sequences, follow-up) and developing new customer relationships., • Comfortable handling difficult situations when needed (objections, escalations, payment follow-ups, tight deadlines)., • Strong organization, high detail orientation, and follow-through; able to manage multiple accounts / projects and shifting priorities., • Clear, professional communication (email, phone, messaging)., • Quick learner and adaptable; willing to learn product, process, and systems quickly., • Comfort working with technical product details and learning CAD terminology., • Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and business tools (Google Sheets / Excel, email, CRM tools)., • Knowledge of jewelry (metals, stones, manufacturing/production flow) strongly preferred., • Experience in fine jewelry, luxury goods, manufacturing, or wholesale environments., • Experience reading or working alongside CAD (Rhino / Matrix / 3D render workflows) – interpretation is key; you don’t need to be a CAD designer., • Experience supporting accounts receivable / collections.
