Job Description Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Flooring Location: Long Island, NYC and the 5 Boroughs, Westchester, Rockland County Company: Parsons Commercial Employment Type: Full-Time About Us Parsons Commercial is a growing commercial flooring contractor specializing in a wide range of flooring systems for office buildings, multifamily properties, healthcare, education, retail, and other commercial environments. Our continued growth is driven by quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and reliable project execution. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee commercial flooring projects from award through closeout. Position Overview The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple commercial flooring projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Projects include, but are not limited to: • Wood flooring, • Carpet tile and broadloom carpet, • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), • Sheet vinyl, • VCT, • Floor preparation and related scope, • Epoxy, • Concrete Grinding and Polishing Key Responsibilities • Manage commercial flooring projects from contract award through final completion, • Review contracts, scopes of work, drawings, and specifications, • Develop project schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors, • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, • Coordinate with property managers, general contractors, facility directors, and owners, • Address field issues, change orders, and unforeseen conditions, • Track project costs, labor hours, and budgets to ensure profitability, • Prepare and submit change order pricing and documentation, • Oversee punch lists and project closeout documentation, • Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders Qualifications • Minimum [3–5+] years of experience managing commercial flooring projects, • Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and floor prep, • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, • Experience working in occupied commercial spaces, • Proficient in project management software, Excel, and email communication, • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills • Knowledge of moisture mitigation and floor prep systems, • Familiarity with scheduling labor crews and subcontractors, • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience, • Performance-based bonuses, • Health benefits, PTO, and paid holidays, • Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter to:
