The Department of Pediatrics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, Northwell Health, is seeking an experienced clinician to join our 6-member academic Division of Infectious Diseases as a Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician. The ideal candidate would be Board-Certified and have experience in clinical infectious diseases, with a strong interest in clinical research, teaching, and institutional activities that include Antimicrobial and Laboratory Stewardship, Infection Prevention, and Quality Improvement. Academic Appointment to Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience. Job Description The Nurse Practitioner in coordination with the supervising physician, is primarily responsible for increasing access to substance abuse and medication assisted treatments; coordinating and managing health care services and health education; encouraging health and wellness and disease prevention. Position Summary: Queens Healthy Start is seeking a bilingual Community Health Worker who will provide home visiting and case management services to low-income parents and their infants under 18 months of age residing in South Queens, including the neighborhoods of Jamaica, Howard Beach, Queens Village, and Far Rockaway.
