In this role, you will focus on managing employee data, supporting new hire onboarding and orientation, handling various HR inquiries, and assisting with reporting. What you'll do • Manage and respond to inquiries from employees and managers across multiple HR and payroll inboxes, • Accurately enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems, including AS400 and Dayforce, for transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations, • Facilitate the new hire process from ICIMS to the AS400, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding data, • Review and verify employee change documents to ensure completeness and proper authorization, • Sort incoming mail and process payroll-related documents, including garnishments and requests, for upload to ADP, • Actively participate in cross-training initiatives across various People Operations functions to develop a broad understanding of the department, • Assist with the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly HR and payroll reports, • Take ownership of and contribute to special projects as assigned, gaining exposure to various People Operations initiatives, • Assist in the organization and set-up of New Metropolite Orientation (NMO), our onboarding program, including coordinating the IT setup What we're looking for • 1+ years of professional experience within a corporate setting, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; as well as familiarity with Google Workspace, • Basic understanding of HR/People data management, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, • Eagerness to learn HRIS systems (AS400, Dayforce, ICIMS) and reporting tools 4 Days in Office: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience.
