Job Description Summary Incumbent is responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic through Metering Control of departure traffic on the Non-movement areas of the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Dimensions of Position A Ground Management Program (GMP) operator shall support the system in a tactical and pre-tactical nature, shall work on site at EWR and shall be the primary System Operator during all times that the system is in operation. A GMP Operator shall have a thorough working knowledge of Air Traffic Management in the New York Region, in particular, the impact of fix and route availability in relation to the health of the surface operation at EWR.
