Company description PressWhisper is a PR platform that helps founders earn press coverage without an agency retainer. It analyses what tens of thousands of journalists publish, matches each story to up to 20 journalists who cover that subject, and supports every pitch with a press kit hosted at its own permanent link. If no journalist runs the story within 90 days of the client approving their press kit, the client receives a full refund. Commission • £500 for each client you sign, paid once the client's first article is published., • No claw-backs. Refunds only apply when no coverage runs, and commission is paid after coverage has run. White Glove is limited, so we are appointing a small number of representatives. This role is compensated through founding equity in Aebly Media, with the transition to salaried pay as we scale. This is not a salaried position upfront — you’re joining as a founding contributor with real ownership in what you help build. About Aebly Media Aebly Media is a news network with an investigative core and a civic-tech engine, built to help people cut through the noise and know exactly where they stand. Every story opens with a question and arrives as named voices with their receipts — verified, sourced quotes you weigh for yourself, never outlet ratings that tell you who to trust. Readers vote on the real thing — congressional bills broken into plain-English provisions, executive orders, Supreme Court rulings, and their own district’s ballot — and every vote writes a personal civic compass that’s theirs alone. Through Witness, what people see becomes the news: anonymous tips that, once corroborated, our journalists investigate and publish. Founded in San Diego, Aebly is built on one idea: Comfort in your Convictions. The Role Witness is our tip line, rebuilt. People report what they saw, their identity is severed and vaulted on arrival, and when independent witnesses corroborate the same event it becomes a Signal our editors can pick up. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for an Investigative Journalist to take those Signals and chase down the truth — verifying claims, talking to sources, building the record, and publishing reporting that holds up to scrutiny. Nothing names a person or business until our reporting verifies it. This is source-driven, boots-on-the-ground journalism for people who believe the truth is worth digging for. What you’ll do • Investigate Signals surfaced through Witness — corroborated reports from independent witnesses, • Verify claims, gather evidence, and separate what actually happened from rumor and noise, • Conduct interviews with witnesses, officials, and relevant sources, • Research public records, documents, and primary sources to build out the full story, • Write clear, factual, well-sourced investigative pieces that hold up to scrutiny, • Protect sources and handle sensitive and anonymous information responsibly and ethically — never naming a person or business until reporting verifies it, • Uphold Aebly’s editorial posture: ground every claim in verifiable fact and let the evidence speak, • Coordinate with the Editor in Chief and editorial team on assignment priorities and publication What we’re looking for • A nose for the story and the persistence to chase it down, • Strong investigative instincts — rigorous about verifying, sourcing, and fact-checking, • Excellent writing skills with the ability to turn a tangle of facts into a clear, compelling narrative, • Comfortable interviewing sources, including reluctant or hostile ones, • Committed to accuracy, fairness, and journalistic ethics, especially around anonymous sources, • Able to work independently, manage assignments, and meet deadlines Helpful but not required • Previous investigative, news, or field reporting experience, • Experience with public records requests, FOIA, document research, or data journalism, • A background in journalism, communications, or a related field, • Familiarity with media law, libel standards, and source protection, • Experience covering politics, local government, or community issues What’s in it for you • A founding role on Witness — a genuinely new approach to community-driven investigative journalism, • Founding equity in Aebly Media with milestone-based vesting and growth prospects as we scale, • The freedom to chase real stories that matter, backed by a platform built on truth and transparency, • Close collaboration with editorial leadership as we define investigative reporting at Aebly If you believe the most important stories are the ones someone doesn’t want told, and you have the persistence to uncover them, apply now to join Aebly Media. This is a founding contributor role, not a salaried employee position. Compensation is initially through founding equity, with the expectation of transitioning to salaried compensation as the company scales. Specific equity terms are finalized individually in a written contributor agreement. This role is offered on an at-will basis and does not guarantee future salaried employment. Aebly Media is an equal opportunity employer.

Bankrate is rebuilding itself with AI at the center. The AI Transformation Office decides what to build, ships it, and proves it changed the business. We're looking for a Senior AI Product Manager who is technical enough to build the prototype, not just spec it. You'll sit with our business teams in Human Resources, Marketing, and Commercial, find the highest-leverage problems, define the AI products that solve them, and often ship the first working version yourself. You report to the Head of AI Transformation. This is an individual-contributor role: a hybrid of technical builder and product leader, with no direct reports. This is not a backlog-grooming, ticket-writing PM role. It's for someone who can open a notebook, wire up an API, and put a working prototype in front of a business team by the end of the week, then turn that prototype into a product people actually adopt. Slideware doesn't count. A roadmap nobody ships doesn't count. What counts is the product in production, the adoption behind it, and the business metric that moved. What You'll Do: • Own the product end to end. Find the problem worth solving, define what to build and why, and drive it from prototype to production to adoption. You set the direction and you own the outcome, not the output., • Prototype it yourself. You don't wait for an engineer to test an idea. You build the first working version, put it in front of real users, and learn fast. Working code beats a perfect spec., • Translate business problems into AI products. Sit with HR, Marketing, and Commercial, learn how they actually operate, and turn messy problems into products with a clear thesis, a way to measure success, and a path to scale., • Decide what not to build. Ruthless prioritization is the job. You kill low-value work, sequence the roadmap around leverage, and defend the focus when everyone wants everything., • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers. When a product outgrows a prototype, you hand engineering a sharp spec and a working reference, then stay close through production. You speak their language because you can build too., • Measure what matters. Define the metric that proves the product changed the business, instrument it, and report against it. Usage is a leading indicator, not the goal., • Move at the speed of the tools. Agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex), AI APIs, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), prototyping platforms (v0, Lovable, Replit), and automation layers (Zapier, n8n) are how you get from idea to working software in days. You keep up as they change What We're Looking For: • 5 to 10 years of work experience, with real technical depth. You've shipped products and you can build them yourself. A background in data science or engineering is exactly what we're after, but the idea of owning a product end-to-end excites you., • You can actually build. You're comfortable in a notebook, with APIs, and with modern AI tooling. You've shipped working prototypes with your own hands, not just directed others to., • AI-native to the core. You build with agents, models, and APIs as a default, and you have a real point of view on what these systems can and can't do., • Product judgment. You know the difference between a feature and a product, and between motion and progress. You prioritize hard and defend the call., • Outcome obsessed. You care about the business metric that moved, not the roadmap you shipped. You measure it and you own the number., • A translator. You sit between non-technical business teams and technical builders and make both better. You bring clarity where there's ambiguity. Compensation: Total Cash Compensation Range: $155,000 $220,000 per year This role is also eligible for Equity, which is offered separately from the total cash compensation listed above. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications. Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements. • Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision), • Life Insurance, • Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance, • Flexible Spending Accounts, • Holiday Pay, • 401(k) with match, • Employee Assistance Program, • Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program, • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential. That's why we offer a generous and flexible PTO policy. Full-time employees accrue 20 days of PTO for a full calendar year annually, with an increase to 25 days after five years of service.
