Job Description Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients with a range of dermatological conditions, ensuring they receive the best treatment available. You will have the chance to work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes patient-centered care and professional development. As a Dermatology NP, you will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing skin disorders, and developing tailored treatment plans to address individual needs. Your role will also involve educating patients about skin health, preventive measures, and the management of chronic conditions. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with dermatologic concerns, • Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers, • Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, lesion excisions, and cryotherapy, • Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare providers to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans, • Educate patients on skin care management and treatment options, • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice, • Master's degree in Nursing with a concentration in Adult, Family, or Dermatology Nursing, • Experience in dermatology or related specialty preferred, • Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on dermatological assessment, • Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills, • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, • Dedication to providing high-quality patient care and pursuing professional growth
