JOB SUMMARY As an Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store, ensuring the highest performance possible in all areas within the operation. Jointly you will be responsible for adhering to market-specific legal requirements, company policies, cleaning, and compliance structures. You are expected to have a full overview of the store and lead your team members when your Store Manager is not present ensuring efficient workflows, great guest experiences, and high-quality products. Your overall success in this position depends on the degree to which all operational conceptual in-store requirements are followed in order to deliver best-in-class guest experiences turning regular customers into beloved returning guests. Key Responsibilities Safe Transport & Driving: Safely drive and navigate company moving trucks to and from client locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. * Packing & Wrapping: Properly wrap furniture, appliances, and fragile items using moving blankets, bubble wrap, and packing supplies to prevent damage. * Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load, secure, and unload cargo in moving trucks using proper stacking techniques, dollies, ramps, and straps. * Assembly & Placement: Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed, and place items in designated rooms according to customer specifications. * Customer Care: Act as the face of LXS Homes by providing courteous, professional, and friendly communication with clients throughout the moving process. * Inspection & Inventory: Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, manage inventory lists, and report any incidents or equipment issues immediately. * Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies, practice correct heavy-lifting ergonomics, and keep the work site and truck clean. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum of [1–2+ years] of proven hands-on experience as a professional mover or truck driver in the moving/logistics industry.
