Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow – Child, Adolescent & Family Therapy Upshur Bren Psychology Group | Pelham, NY (Hybrid) Fall 2026–2027 Cohort We welcome applications from current clinical psychology interns and recent graduates seeking a supervised postdoctoral fellowship focused on child, adolescent, and family therapy. Upshur Bren Psychology Group is a warm, women-led, family-friendly private practice dedicated to providing depth-oriented, evidence-based care. Our fellows are integral members of our clinical team, with opportunities to shape their caseloads, develop specialty interests, and receive robust supervision and support during this early-career stage. About the Fellowship Our training emphasizes an integrative, relational, and psychodynamically informed approach, combined with evidence-based interventions such as DBT, ACT, SPACE, parent coaching, and family systems work. Fellows receive hands-on training in: • Psychodynamic psychotherapy, • Family systems therapy, • Parent-child therapy, • DBT and ACT, • SPACE (for anxiety/OCD), • Somatic and mindfulness interventions, • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), • Women’s mental health, • Parenting support and coaching, • Optional neuropsychological assessment and testing (with supervision) You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team of clinicians who value growth, lifelong learning, and clinical excellence. What You’ll Receive • Weekly individual supervision, • Weekly group supervision with alternating didactics and case consultation, • Collaborative clinical team culture with warm, supportive colleagues, • Flexible scheduling outside of required after-school in-person hours, • Hybrid model (Pelham, NY + telehealth), • Opportunities to explore specialized interests, such as parent-child work, neurodiverse populations (ASD/ADHD), or neuropsychological assessment, with dedicated supervision, • Fee-for-service compensation with estimated earnings of $55,000–$85,000+ depending on caseload, • Professional development stipend, • Benefits for full-time fellows (medical/dental/vision, 401k), • Potential for post-licensure employment with our team Fellowship Structure Schedule: • 5 days/week, • In-person hours required: 3:30–6:30 PM, Monday–Friday, • Outside these hours: flexible scheduling, hybrid in-person/telehealth Duration: • Full-time: 2-year fellowship (minimum 22 sessions/week), • Part-time: 3-year fellowship (minimum 16 sessions/week) Optional Neurodiversity Specialty Track Fellows interested in expanding their skills in neurodiversity services may apply for our Neurodiversity Specialty Track, which includes: • Psychological/neuropsychological assessment training, • Additional supervision in working with neurodiverse children, parents, and families (ASD/ADHD), • Opportunities to contribute to program development, • Applicants for this track should include two de-identified neuropsychological evaluation reports. Required: • Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program, • Completion of an APA-accredited internship, • Eligibility for supervised practice in New York State (limited permit) by fellowship start date, • Experience providing therapy to children, teens, parents, and/or families, • Strong writing and communication skills, • Interest in working in a hybrid model (Pelham + telehealth) Preferred: • Experience in parent-child work, family therapy, or evidence-based interventions, • Interest in neurodiversity or psychological assessment About Upshur Bren Psychology Group We are a women- and mother-led group private practice committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care grounded in warmth, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
