Job Description We are seeking a Counselor/Recruiter for our Pre-College programs who, under the leadership of the Program Coordinator, provides academic, career, and educational counseling, as well as assistance with completing the college admissions and financial aid process. The Counselor also provides motivational support, and acts as an advocate for program participants. Other services and activities coordinated by the Program Counselor/Recruiter include recruitment, academic instruction, mentoring and tutoring. The Counselor/Recruiter is responsible for the effective implementation and achievement of all goals, objectives and standards associated with the grant's scope of work. This part-time, hourly position is approximately 29 hours per week and includes Saturday and off-hour work as required.
