Job Description • Provide advanced administrative and legal support to attorneys handling litigation matters, • Draft, prepare, format, proofread, and edit litigation documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, motions, subpoenas, and settlement documents, • Assist with electronic filing in State and Federal Courts, • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court appearances, depositions, conferences, and scheduling needs, • Coordinate with courts, clients, experts, opposing counsel, co-counsel, court reporters, and interpreters, • Open, close, scan, save, organize, and maintain case files in the firm's document management system, • Track case status, deadlines, filings, and attorney follow-up items to help keep matters moving forward, • Perform data entry, process expense reports, check requests, large mailings, and other administrative tasks, • Transcribe dictation, type legal documents, and arrange travel accommodations as needed, • Maintain client confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive documents and information, • Support attorney marketing tasks and assist with overflow work for other attorneys when needed, • 3+ years of legal assistant experience in general litigation, • Experience preparing litigation documents, pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence, • Knowledge of State and Federal Court e-filing, • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, • Experience with case management systems, document management systems, and legal software, • Strong organizational, communication, proofreading, and time management skills, • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume, deadline-driven legal environment, • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, polished work, • Ability to anticipate attorney needs, move projects forward proactively, and work independently, • Professional, confidential, team-oriented, and client-service focused approach, • You will join a team that values legal support professionals as an important part of the firm's success, • The environment is collaborative, respectful, and focused on open communication and shared accountability, • The firm supports professional development, ongoing learning, and long-term career growth, • You will work with attorneys and legal staff who value efficiency, responsiveness, and teamwork, • The firm embraces technology, process improvement, and a modern approach to legal services Benefits: • Dental insurance, • Paid time off, • Retirement plan, • Vision insurance
