Role Overview The Logistics/Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Operations team by ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products, maintaining accurate inventory records in the ERP system, and supporting logistics operations that drive overall supply chain effectiveness. This role plays a key part in [how the role contributes to the organization's goals, customer, or operations. The Logistics/Inventory Coordinator functions, the Logistics/Inventory Coordinator will be expected to have the following, but not limited to the following responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using internal ERP systems and external Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)., • Reconcile inventory discrepancies between internal data and third-party logistics (3PL) reports; make necessary adjustments in ERP., • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments among suppliers, purchasing, production, and 3rd-party warehouses., • Create and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and customs paperwork when required., • Plan and schedule timely pickups and deliveries to support production schedules and customer timelines., • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of inventory in line with company standards and safety requirements., • Collaborate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure inventory availability and material readiness., • Coordinate pickups of raw materials finished goods, and soup bases from vendors, airports, and other designated locations., • Research and select cost-effective freight and transportation options to minimize shipping expenses while meeting deadlines., • Generate inventory and logistics reports for regular management review., • Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) services for company delivery vehicles., • Contact vehicle rental providers to arrange for replacements when company vehicles are out of service., • Participate in scheduled inventory counts and cycle counts to validate and reconcile inventory records., • Manager DSD drivers to timely departure, delivery and Overtime management., • Support special projects and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
