As we continue to grow, were looking for a consistent, organized, hard-working, and self-motivated Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our companys facilities and physical resources. Position Overview: The Facilities Manager is primarily responsible for improving, maintaining, and facilitating various functions within the companys facilities. Under the direction of the Business Resource Manager and the Administrative Director, the Facilities Manager will develop protocols and execute tasks required to maintain an outstanding working environment for all operations while supporting the growth and efficiency of the company. Position Responsibilities include: • Maintaining and improving the appearance and function of all facilities and vehicle fleets., • Installing and maintaining equipment and tools for daily use., • Organizing and upkeeping the shipping and receiving area for smooth production operations., • Establishing and completing scheduled maintenance for equipment and other resources., • Hiring, training, scheduling, and reviewing Facilities staff members., • Leading any renovations or improvements. This may include working with facilities staff and/or liaising with vendors for roll gates, roofing, plumbing, framing, HVAC, general electrical, masonry, etc., • Maintaining general inventory and consumable ordering with direction of the Fabrication Manager and Production Director, while corresponding with the Business Resource Manager to stay within ordering budgets and timelines., • Anticipating consumable product needs and stocking based on volume, delivery lead times, and types of work., • Generate reports based on stock material counts and usage., • Assistingwith logistics, coordinating vehicle placement, and activity., • Communicating with project and departmental staff, storing and inventorying of project materials., • Maintenance of tools, regular maintenance, cataloging, disbursement, and receiving of hand tools such as battery-operated, pneumatic, jobsite (I.E. ladders, Saw horses, etc.), corded as well as stationary tools such as Table Saws, Miter Saws, Drill Presses, ETC., • Ability to drive and train staff to operate box trucks and sprinter vans. Position Requirements: • 5+ years of fabrication shop or facility operations experience with emphasis on fabrication equipment., • 2+ years of management experience., • Clean driving record., • Ability to drive and back up 24 Box Truck (Straight Truck)., • Ability to operate forklifts., • Good communication skills on the phone and through email., • Computer literate., • Strong math skills., • Experience and knowledge of handheld and stationary tool use and maintenance., • Excellent knowledge of wood products and dimensional lumber., • Experience with inventory or organizational processes., • Google Workspace experience.
