Job DescriptionBenefits: • Competitive salary Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our Nursing Float team in Watertown, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across multiple units, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and excellent clinical skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies. Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the supervising RN or physician. Assist with wound care, vital signs, and patient hygiene as required. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Float between various nursing units as assigned, adapting quickly to different care settings. Support patients and families by providing education and emotional care. Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures. Qualifications: Active LPN or LVN license in the state of New York (or Compact License, if applicable). BLS certification required (ACLS preferred). Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience in an acute, sub-acute, or long-term care setting. Strong communication, assessment, and time management skills. Ability to work flexible schedules and float between departments as needed.
