Job Description Looking for certified medical assistant to join our health care team. We are a non-profit clinic with over 20 years of service to an immigrant population. Candidate must be able to administer vaccines, perform venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients starting at age 2. Must be able to take accurate vital signs including manual blood pressure as needed, and recognize abnormals, and have ease of use of computer programs, including electronic medical records. Fluency (written and spoken) in both English and Spanish to meet the needs of the community is a plus as well as being up to date on vaccines for health care workers. Additional skills that would benefit this job opportunity are insurance verification, appointment scheduling, telephone etiquette, and documentation of vaccines in New Jersey Immunization System. EKG and spirometry skills as well as familiarity with vaccine schedules a plus. Candidate must be able to function without extensive supervision.. Job Description We are in search of a motivated and highly competent x-ray tech for a busy and growing orthopedic pediatric surgery practice in Ridgewood,NJ.. Job duties include: -Being able to take good quality X-ray images following site X-ray protocol in an efficient and accurate manner -Capturing accurate and detailed documentation of the encounter into the EMR in a timely manner -Performing the more common X-ray studies in a reasonable amount of time as suggested below: -Being able to fully document in the EMR on multiple patients per hour -Keeping track of materials needed to copy images to a CD for patients and inform Medical Assistant or Site Manager prior to depletion of supplies.
