This role involves performing maintenance for desktop client PC hardware and software, troubleshooting user equipment problems, and ensuring systems remain secure and up to date. You will work under the direct supervision of the Service Desk Coordinator and general supervision of the Information Services Manager.Responsibilities:, • Respond to service desk tickets, phone calls, emails, and in-person requests, • Troubleshoot and repair PC hardware and software issues, • Set up and install computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice, scanners, printers, and external drives, • Install and maintain software, security patches, and updates, • Perform hardware replacements (screens, hard drives, keyboards, etc.), • Backup and restore data on desktop and laptop machines, • Set up presentations and meetings in training rooms (both virtual and in-person), • Securely recycle old equipment and ensure proper data removal, • Create and maintain support documentation for recurring issues, • Escalate tickets to senior staff when requiredQualifications and Requirements:, • Minimum of 3 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining computer hardware/software, • Certificate program in computer repair technology or related training (Associate’s degree or CompTIA A+ preferred), • Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and related applications, • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize based on ticket urgency, • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent customer service focus, • Valid driver’s license required, • Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug/alcohol test, and MVR)Must successfully pass pre-employment screeningBenefits and Perks:, • Payrate: $23.33, • Medical, Vision, Dental available, • 401K and Referral Bonus Program, • Training and Growth OpportunitiesYour New Organization:Play a critical role in IT support when you join our client as a Service Desk Technician.
