Job DescriptionSalary: JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking experienced AT/PS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support USASOC subordinate units (19th SFG(A), 20th SFG(A), and/or 75th Ranger Regiment). You will serve as the Project Lead supporting unit ATO/PSO leadership, developing and integrating AT/PS (and, for 75th RR, OPSEC) policies, plans, training, and assessments across the Force Protection enterprise. You will draft and maintain program documents (plans, OPORDs/OPLANs, SOPs), coordinate working groups and training, and help align unit protection programs with DoD/Army/USSOCOM/USASOC directives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Program & Policy Support • Advise and assist unit ATO/PSO (and ROO for 75th RR) in interpreting and implementing AT/PS(/OPSEC) policy and guidance from DoD, USSOCOM, HQDA, USASOC, 1st SFC(A), and NGB., • Draft, review, and maintain AT/PS(/OPSEC) program documents: program plans, OPORDs/OPLANs, SOPs, directives, deployment plans, and related products., • Coordinate and track unit AT/PS awareness training; maintain training records; support specialized training as needed., • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct AT/PS program assessments (at least every three years for SFG battalions; similar cadence for 75th RR), including facility surveys (CONUS/OCONUS)., • Support unit inspection programs for AT/PS(/OPSEC) and contribute to dissemination/interpretation of protection, law enforcement, and threat information., • Coordinate with theater SOCs, host installations, and higher HQs on FP matters; provide input on AT/PS impacts of emerging concepts and technologies., • Maintain and update applicable AT/PS(/OPSEC) web portals/pages on NIPR/SIPR; research relevant protection sources and incorporate updates., • Provide monthly status updates as directed; submit Quarterly Progress/Status Reports., • Prepare Trip Reports following Government-directed travel., • Support development/maintenance of the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and comply with QASP surveillance; submit QCP within required timelines after award/changes. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Recent AT/PS program experience supporting at least a battalion-sized organization or larger (Government ATO or Contractor AT/PS Specialist) within the last 5 years., • Demonstrated experience in AT/PS program management, training, and inspections; ability to draft and implement AT/PS program documents and policy., • Clearance: Active TS/SCI eligibility based on a current investigation (final TS/SCI preferred). Candidates with a current SECRET who are clearly eligible for TS/SCI may be considered pending adjudication in accordance with contract requirements., • Readiness for required training/certifications, including: DoD AT Level I (annual), OPSEC training requirements, IA/IT (DoD IA awareness annually), iWATCH/local programs, and registration in ATCTS for information systems access., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and portal/content management as an operator., • Excellent written and oral communication skills for staff coordination, policy drafting, and briefing. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • AT Level II Program Manager Course (TRADOC, Fort Leonard Wood) within the last 36 months or willingness to attend within 6 months of hire (Govt-funded where applicable)., • Conventional Physical Security Course (CPSC) completed or willingness to attend within 6 months (Govt-funded where applicable)., • For 75th Ranger Regiment roles: OPSEC Level II (or willingness to complete) and prior experience managing AT/PS/OPSEC integration., • SOF/ARSOF background or experience working with 1st SFC(A), USASOC, USASOAC, or similar organizations., • Experience coordinating with host installations and theater SOCs; familiarity with MARMS/DTRA, surveillance detection, security engineering, and electronic security systems design coursework. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS • Occasional CONUS travel as directed for meetings, training, assessments, and program support.
